Saints first round pick 2020

Let's just say hypothetically there are no first round wrs or lbs left .... Who would you target?
Doubt he falls past 20 but CJ Henderson (cb-florida) is a solid pick if he falls. Who you got ?

I’ve seen mocks that have Murray, Diggs, and Gross Matos all there at 24. I’d be pumped about any of them or JJets.

As far as corners I would take in this order: Fulton, Gladney, Henderson or Jaylon Johnson.
If it’s a DL in that range it’s Chaisson, Kinlaw, Espensa, Gross-Matos. Derrick Brown will be long gone.
I could see us also taking an OL at 24 if one of the tackles falls or they could just grab Cesar Ruiz and plug him in at RG after Warford leaves or move McCoy over and let Ruiz play C.

I don’t know anything about Diggs, I’ve just seen him in mocks and it’s a position of need. If no LB’s then I would go Gross Matos, best OL available, or Deloitte if he slips.

Chase embarrassed A LOT of defensive backs. That’s not a good measurement to go by when scouting players.

Diggs sucks. I do NOT want him or that overrated bum CB from Clemson ranked as a 1st rounder.
I would go with Murray, not that big on Queen.
If we can get a great OL (like Ramchek) I would be good with it.
Improve the defense or build a dominant OL.

That's not really a hypothetical likely to happen. And I am uncertain the Saints have a position in mind for round 1 but rather want best player available.
That being said, I wouldn't mind a CB like Fulton (yes I have an LSU bias) or CJ Henderson.

If there are no WR's left then that means a top 15 prospect has fallen all the way to 24. And in that case you pick best player available
