We've been saying this for years this medical stuff is fricked up. Now a serious question I have here is the NFL going to investigate this problem? What I mean by that is how many player careers did they possibly screw up with their tenure here. Another question is did Payton know about these problems and how much is he accountable to their mistakes? Probably nothing there on him but he does lie about injuries a lot or maybe he's just being fed poor information from the medical staff. Either way, I'd be concerned with judge, jury, executioner fricktard Goodell coming in trying to look like he's protecting players throwing another death penalty on Saints. This organization is a mess top to bottom. Could be another classic situation where Goodell wants to make it look like the NFL has no tolerance for issues like this because they want it to look like they're doing something on the imminent lawsuits coming from players.

Just confirms what we've all been saying. Horrible medical team and this was so far overdue. Fairley and now this? And just about every other injury situation we have has been handled poorly.

So apparently according to Lewis, and I believe him here based on what happened to him, almost all of the misdiagnoses have been due to this Deryk Jones fool. Suri gets lumped in being his assistant.

But it's just like I said most of the injuries haven't been on the staff, but they have been clearly misdiagnosed after they happen. Lewis, Unger, Breaux, all of the hernias we've had, etc.

Armstead getting hurt isn't on the staff, but him trying to play through it last year is. Same with Breaux.

So don't expect injuries to magically disappear, but at least the players can get the proper treatment immediately instead of waiting for weeks for something to heal when it never will.

This is the dude. Wonder how Ochsner is taking this since they just came on board as a major sponsor.

I wonder if Payton fired them on the field during practice the way Al Pacino's character Coach Tony did in the movie Any Given Sunday. Lol.

I just hope Breaux is okay and the team softens its stance on trading him. Obviously not his fault the retard doctors couldn't identify a fricking fractured bone.

Makes sense, someone's response from Reddit.

I truly wonder how this affected some of the guys weve had with nagging injuries and some of the players weve taken a chance on who have had injury risks. I wonder if Ellerbe wouldve been treated any differently, if players like Keenan's career couldve been extended, if Breaux's original injury last year wouldve been handled differently. Curious if Byrd wouldve been viewed with more red flags or not when he was originally signed. It doesnt change the fact that we drafted poorly and whiffed on free agents, but it couldve had a pretty decent impact over the years

Or I wonder how the Greer situation could of been handled..

you saw greer's injury live, he chose to retire after that. Age and rehab was not going to be kind.

With so many players on the Saints and Pelicans having medical issues I can see some lawsuits coming out of this.

this dude's practice is fricked. no one is going to see an orthopedist that misdiagnoses a broken leg as a bruise.

This story has some major legs and is getting picked up everywhere. I saw it on the front page of yahoo. Its being discussed all over the place.

Former Saints and Pels starting to come out of the woodwork on social media.

Expect lawsuits.

The athletic traininers have anything to do with diagnosis, they only treat as directed by the physician. The biggest job for the trainers is passing out water bottles and taping ankles.
