So your suggestion is the Saints fans should consider a discussion to give up a 1st round pick for a QB that has not been able to finish a season for at least 3 years and is 1 year younger than our current QB?

If Brees had to retire today, I actually think Romo would be the perfect veteran QB in a buy low scenario to keep the franchise moving until you find a long term replacement. He's better than anyone gives him credit for and I think he'd thrive in this offense.
