Been a Braves fan even while despising the Falcons. I'm 29; I'll always have a soft spot for the Jones boys, Maddux, Glavine, and Smoltzy.

You do know that all the Falcons fans on the other board talk about being huge Braves fans, right? You want to be associated with them?

Correct. They are bandwagoning a team that won this year. Short ride.

Why can’t we? Growing up, it wasn’t as if they were showing Houston Astro games on TBS. We all were Braves fans.

Well then yall must be Bulls fans to because that's all they showed on WGN.

Yea, I became a bandwagon Astros fan since they won the World Series right after I moved to Austin. But things are looking scary right now. I never really had a FAVORITE team before that.

Sorry amigress, but yes they can. I’ve been a Saints fan since I first learned what a football was, but I also became a Braves and Yankees fan, in a much less passionate way, mainly due to TV at a young age and Dad.

Garbage take. Been a LSU, Saints, and Braves fan my whole life. I hate the Falcons, Louisiana has no baseball team. Sorry you take it so seriously.

Grew up watching them play.. sorry that bothers you.

They are the team of the southeast.. especially back then.

Dude they literally and figuratively have nothing to do with falcons. Yes you can be a fan. I was one of those kids growing up watching smoltz, maddux, Jones, etc. we don’t have a team here in LA.

I’m 37. The Braves and Cubs are the only teams I can tolerate “bandwagon” fandom from because for people my age they were the only teams you could consistently see on tv when we were kids.

I grew up in Beaumont, and my first mlb game was in the dome, so I’ve been an Astros fan since i was a kid. I never was a Braves fan because I watched the Braves beat some damn good Astros teams back in the 90s.

Ok tough guy

For those same 29 years, I've been a diehard Saints fan, too. Yeah, I know I'm not old but I remember the Billy Joe days, Brooks, Ditka losing his mind, etc. I find peace knowing I supported them through those seasons and then getting blessed to experience the seasons with Payton and Brees. Go enjoy life; bless you

Amen to that.

Astros/Saints is the only acceptable axis.

both have pretty similar histories. same amount of championships... but the Braves have been an exponentially better regular season team. Saints would be lucky to have their history instead.

I have always been a Braves fan since the days of Smoltz, Glavine, Chipper and Crime Dog. I have also always been a Saints fan. If we had an MLB team, I would probably root for them.
