Uhhh, you could say the same thing about Aaron Rodgers or Russel Wilson...hell, Matt Ryan has been winning consistently and hasn't won one Super Bowl.

No

I would say the same thing about those organizations

Not the QB

And exclude Atlanta, because they got there and blew it

But Atlanta didn’t blow multiple opportunities like we did.

And Seattle only blew one and they at least got there.

Green Bay is right up there with us.

But we have blown more opportunities than them.

False. They've been to way more NFC Championship Games. Blew a HUGE opportunity when they let Seattle come back in 2014. Let's not forget the last two years, back to back NFC Championship Games. And this year they hosted.

There's also 2011 where they went 15-1 and lost their first playoff game at home. In fact, got blown out

I knew this would be your response. You definitely implied that because they have one more Super Bowl that they have been consistently a more winning and better organization.

When that's the furthest thing from the truth. It's like saying Washington is a better organization and are more consistent winners than us just because they have two more Lombardi's they won in the 80s but have been garbage for the majority of the 21st century.

Ok

And you’re proud of that?

We blew the 49ers after our SuperBowl

And two Vikings, 49ers, and Rams

That’s 5 by my count.

OK I see you're just trolling now. We've only been to three NFC Championship Games. How many has Green Bay been to since Rodgers took over? 5. And they're 1-4. And they were blown out in 3 of them.

The 49ers game was in 2011, two years after our SB. The 2020 Vikings game was definitely not a choke. We sucked that entire game, but I doubt you watched it. You're just here to troll and talk shite like you normally do.

No that’s not what I’m saying.

Would you like to compare the Saints and the Bucs all time consistency?

Some of you are cherry picking time frames.

And it’s not my point anyway.

My point is as a fan base, we shouldn’t be happy with winning a bunch of regular season games

And blowing multiple opportunities to at least get to a second SuperBowl
With a HOF QB

I don’t care what other organizations do or did.

Do you think Bill Bilichik is happy and celebrates his SuperBowl losses because other teams have lost SuperBowls?

That’s a losers excuse.

Ok

You win

Green Bay has blown more opportunities than us

You happy now?

BTW

I watched all of those games.

Were you in Tulane Stadium for the Saints Inaugural Season?

Saints all-time record: Record: 387-442-5

Bucs all-time record: 278-429-1

The Bucs have one of the worst winning percentages in all of football over the span of several, several decades.

Good

We are better than the Bucs

But they have two SuperBowls

The all time worst team has two SuperBowl wins

We have 1

Right. That doesn't make them a better organization or a more consistent one.

Correct

And I’m not saying that.

We have been an outstanding organization since Sean Payton and Drew Brees came aboard.

My only disappointment is not at least winning another Super-Bowl.

In my opinion we have had many opportunities with Drew.

We may win one with Jamieson

Who knows

We also had an excellent organization and teams with Jim Finks and Jim Mora.

Jim Finks turned the Saints organization around.

Why do you format your posts like your are Shel frickin Silverstein?

It makes these threads like 15x longer than they should be.

quote:

The all time worst team has two SuperBowl wins

We have 1

Also there are 12 NFL teams that have ZERO. Thats 37.5%. Thats the highest pct of any major American sport. Its harder to win an NFL championship than any other championship. And we have 1. And for the last 5 seasons we have been one of the, say, 6 teams that people would say have a chance at it. That means we are currently about as consistently winning of a team as you can be.

Excellent

You are correct

My point is and always will be, that The New Orleans Saints blew a huge window of opportunity to win a second SuperBowl.

In my humble option, we should have three now.

Just my opinion.

And it’s hard for me to read lots of words cramed up together with no spacing.

Over the course of Payton’s tenure with the Saints, they have been mediocre at drafting compared to most of the league. Outside of the 2006 and 2017 drafts, they have missed in more picks than i can fathom.

That said, picking SEC doesn’t guarantee anything but I do think their tOSU obsession will bite them in the arse moving forward. They hit on a few, but have also missed on a ton there too.

Games played and money earned of players drafted by the Saints since ‘06 would beg to differ

Its almost like the best SEC players go early in the 1st round and after that talent is more equally distributed among conferences. Maybe if we were a bad team we would have more SEC players.

Why do the pats have the most from the sec then?

After the first draft by Payton (incredible)

The Saints were some of the worst in the league at drafting

On top of that...

We were the worst at free agency...

Do I have to remind y’all of some of the names?

Browner
Byrd
The CB from the colts
Etc
Etc

Trading up for busts

Thank god for Jeff Ireland

He turned that around quickly

Saints were the 5th best team in the NFL from 2010-2019 in drafting efficiency. As measured by draft return vs draft capital

They have been the best the past 4 seasons based on games played, games started, PFF’s approximate value,Pro Bowls and All-Pro teams

Your shitty opinion is noted though

Cherry picking time frames and extremely misleading about my comments.

Thank God for Jeff Ireland. He turned our drafting and free agent acquisitions 180 degrees around.
