I can't wait till he is gone mostly so we don't have to see all these people take up for a career loser.

I simply don't get why some do this for a player who is so mid & never even attempted to make a connection with the area.

So ready to be done with this dude. He and his brothers are weird as frick and career losers. Someone go ahead and post a bunch of meaningless situational stats, I don’t give a shite. The dude doesn’t win nor has he ever.

When he had the chance for a second act he chose to play for Dennis fricking Allen because he was comfortable and it was easy.

I don’t care if we swing and miss at a young guy. I’d rather it than this milquetoast dud even if he’s good for another win or two.

It’s some weird “I’m the better fan” badge of honor kind of thing. It’s pathetic.

The fact that Carr was nowhere to be found in the New Orleans area the week that we hosted a Super Bowl tells you a lot. And I have given this guy every benefit of the doubt his entire time here as he has been throwing to 3rd stringers the majority of his time here.

He’s a mediocre QB and is upset upon other clubs finding out…..he’s a mediocre QB.

I don’t blame Carr. Most knew it was a bad marriage to begin with. Didn’t want him on team from the jump.

If I was him, I’d get ever penny from the Saints I could before I leave.

Get a better scouting department, actually develop players.

Running the #s we knew he was going to never be here beyond 3 years if it didn't work. Worth the try.

Initially I thought it'd be 3/100mil (his initial guarantee was 100mil), but it's gonna be 3/110mil now

Well, you can’t even spell his name right, so what do you know?

We should have kept Dalton at a fraction of the price and prepped for the future. We overpaid for Carr by 100 million. Paid an aging, bottom tier QB elite money. Nobody else even wanted the dude.

You need to research what elite QBs make these days and come back. Carr got paid mid-tier monies

Absolute pussy, but not surprised. He’s had the worst body language I’ve ever seen from a quarterback, and I watched Aaron Brooks play here for 6 years. Nothing is ever Carr’s fault. Just a phony pussy.

I never thought I’d dislike a Saints QB more than Brooks, but Brooks won a playoff game and actually had a hand in it. Carr can’t spell playoffs.

tell Carr we are paying him to stay home. I don’t want that negativity in the locker room especially when it’s coming from the QB.

You can tell him all you want. Players who don’t want to play for their employer rarely have productive years. Expect a lot of drama and more Olave posts one the 1st hospital ball is thrown. Starting to feel like another 5 win season with the crappy free agents we signed and kicked the can on.

I can understand why he would want a trade. He probably doesn't feel like toughing it out through a rebuild, and like the article said we're in the "quarterback business."

Then again he should be grateful he's not Kirk Cousins.

Kirk has had the coast and get paid career Carr could only dream of.

What a shite show

Further proof this was one of the worst signings in Saints history.

I think Carr thinks of his self as a top tier quarterback when in reality he’s only a step ahead of Daniel Jones. This is basically another 4 to 5 win team at best next season with Derrick at the helm

As bad as they were last season, as injured as they were, they were still 5-5 with him as the starter. This is my problem with the organization, and the way they’ve handled the offseason shows this. With him at QB they’ll be competitive, they’ll win more than 4-5 games, but it will never be enough to compete for anything meaningful, and as a result it will just be another season or completely average play. Another wasted season when they could be rebuilding. Their only hope (and I hate to say this) is that he gets hurt at some point and misses time like he did this past season.
