but they do, why are the players so fricking stupid they don't get that? They can go protest in the streets with all the other idiots if they want to protest, what they are doing is complete and utter disrespect

The act of being offended by guys kneeling before the anthem makes one a snowflake. During the anthem, ok, I get it, It’s disrespectful. But you want to move the goal post no matter what they do to fuel your outrage

Didn't they end up kneeling during the moment of silence for a cop that was murdered? Did I miss something about how that isn't utterly disrespectful? Hell, it was a black cop on top of that.

The slain officer in my dreams told me he appreciated the fans booing the players who knelt during his MOS.

To be fair, I think that was just bad timing with the PA announcer...

Who is y’all?

A normal person without an agenda can see how people kneeling during the anthem could possibly be offensive to some.

A normal person without an agenda can give two fricks if they kneel before the anthem

The retired, disabled navy commander told me that it was disrespectful, which is part of why he declined the offer. He just didn't want to bring unwanted attention to it

Only if you chose to ignore the explanation that it was a misunderstanding. Like really, how fricking stupid do you have to be

But hey, if it gives you something to be mad online about

Do they have reason to be? The average black person, specifically black male, is at a ridiculously higher statistical rate to be an issue. Is it fair? No, but when you have a culture that glorifies thuggish behavior, there are unfortunate consequences to how people see the group.

and this is the problem. Whether they have reason to be or not people should not be judged based off of the actions of others because their skin colors match. Sorry but that attitude is unacceptable to me.
