Maybe they could go to church, and kneel there?
This man has a right to protest the dishonorable protesters.
"Although I am touched and honored to be selected for such an award, the ongoing controversy with NFL players' disrespect for the national flag forces me to decline to participate in the presentation," Wells said (via NOLA.com). "Since this award is tainted with the dishonorable actions of the NFL and its players, I cannot accept it. To do so would be hypocritical."
Wells, the head of a Louisiana-based military veterans' organization, also said the NFL’s decision not to mandate players to stand for the anthem “is a slap in the face to all of those who have served in uniform. Men and women have fought and died for the flag that the players are disrespecting."
...now you know how many of the people in the military feel about the dishonorable kneelers.

My old man served in Vietnam and i sure as hell wonder what he'd have to say about what's been going on this year.
He rarely spoke about his time over there or serving in the Army. He loved football though so I figure he would eventually cave in and have some response to this if he were still alive.

I’m active duty. In fact, I’m heading back to the war one day after thanksgiving. And I don’t feel disrespected by the military in any way. Additionally everyone of us in the unit who are NFL fans still watch the games and look forward to seeing what we can get available downrange.
I’m sick of ppl using us as reason to not support the protesters. People in the military disrespect the anthem everyday way worse than the players by running inside at 8:00am every morning so that don’t have to stand outside for the anthem. But no one mentions that.
I fight so this country can have the freedom to protest freely if people choose too.
