realistically, we are not a very good football team... and there's a catch 22 with the consolation to us doing well this year... on one hand, it makes the 1st round pick we are giving the Eagles worse, but on the other hand, it makes the 2nd round pick we do have worse too... it's a pretty fricked position we find ourselves in, so there's really not a good option, but knowing the Saints they'll do just good enough to be around picks 14-17, like they normally do

ANYTHING but giving Philly a Top 10 pick (which at this point appears to be a Top 3 - 5).

as long as we are in the fight, you fight. Who cares what your record is if you get in the playoffs right?

Yup it’s time we have a losing record and have some team with double digit wins have to come to the dome and bitch for a playoff game.

I would love to have some Cowboy fans overpay for wild card playoff tickets -- and then we beat them.

No doubt but right now we are one of the bottom teams in the league

Why should I give a shite about consequences? I want what’s best for the team. They gain nothing by losing. If they had their pick I’m down to go 1-16. If they go 4-13 and make playoffs, that still gives them shot at SB.

I’m a fan, not someone who covers the NFL for a living. The rebuild starts after this season. I don’t need the Saints to suck as some kind of symbolic punishment for being bad at their jobs.

I am always interested in winning the division and going to playoffs regardless of regular season results. Never know when things may finally click.

Season is ugly. Oh well. If we can make the playoffs let’s do it. Crazy not to want that.

strange as it is, if the Panthers win, they will have victories over every team in the division.

And be a game behind 1st with the tiebreaker

Pretty pathetic a team is 3-6 and talking about 1st place and playoffs.

This!

Does anyone REALLY think Eli’s Giants were anything special before getting hot late on either of their Super Bowl wins in 2007 or 2011?

2007 Patriots and Packers were MILES better than NYG for all of the regular season.

2011, we all know if not for the clusterfrick in SF we beat the shite out of the Giants in the dome (AGAIN)…

That’s why they play the games! Be a fan and enjoy the moment. Every season can’t be “Super Bowl or bust and if we bust we better fricking suck to get draft capital”…

A winning culture is fostered by WINNING.

Absolute loser mentality.

Who cares? This team isn’t winning anything of note.

I'm already looking at flights to Philly for our divisional round match up vs Eagles

If we make it to the divisional round against the eagles, you should be able to create the game thread.
