Typo

You’re arguing that the saints shouldn’t do it, which is a different discussion than could they do it. They absolutely could do it.

The saints could offer a sweeter trade package to the raiders to eat some of his salary. The saints could negotiate an extension with Adams to lower his cap hit this year and likely add void years. The saints could extend players like Kamara to fit his full salary and then figure it out in the offseason.

My comment was pretty straightforward.

If you can lay out a plan to do that makes sense, Then lay it out.

Makes sense to whom?!?!

You keep saying that….there is literally 1 person that needs to think it makes sense….LOOMIS…..if he thinks it makes sense, then it does.

You keep thinking someone cares about YOUR opinion in the front office. I assure you, they do not.

If LOOMIS wants DA, he will do what he needs to do.

Not for that much money. If anything I’d give them a 5th round pick to take on that deal. Pass. Our OL can’t block anyway.

Who cares - this trade is meaningless when you are stuck with Dennis Allen as your head coach and Derek Carr as your QB. We will probably give away too much draft capital, go 8-9, miss the playoffs, and either not have a high first rounder or not have one altogether.

Adding a bunch of void deals to two skill position players in their 30s always a winning strategy. We’ll probably do exactly that.

If you have watched the first 4 weeks of this season, why are you even thinking about a high draft pick?

So Saints take their top draft pick in the 2025 draft….Take an impact WR for cheap money over first 5 contract years at 21 years of age. Hopefully he plays 8-10 years.

Raiders requesting 2nd rd pick and additional picks for Davante.

You don’t trade high draft pick(s) for 32 year old Wr…. Who will only play for 2-3 years and pay him tens of millions of dollars.

This Wrecks your team in the longterm via draft picks and salary cap.

You only take a Davante Adams if you are 1 player away from winning a superbowl…. and that’s NOT the Saints !!

Jets make the most sense. Saints and Chiefs work based on WR rooms, but would have to mortgage the future for it. Doesn’t make sense for the Saints, a receiver isn’t making them a serious contender. Does for the Chiefs though. A receiver could be the difference for them this year.

Darkhorse is the Bills. Their receiver room is pretty mediocre and I think they have the Cap space to make it work.

There is a 0% chance that the Raiders trade DA to the Chiefs. It would be like us trading Kamara to the Falcons.
