Saints and Raiders came close on a Renfrow trade yesterday

Saints were trying to get them to pay some of his money so might bump it a bit more but doubt it's higher than a 5th.

I wonder if the Raiders are still salty

We agreed on a compensation package for Carr before talking with him

They met and obviously Saints wanted him but after that meeting Saints never pulled the trigger on the trade and waited to sign him outright via FA

I agree we don’t need a WR right now just intrigued by the thought behind this rumor considering there has been smoke there twice now

Davis is still paying Gruden and Mcdaniels isn't exactly screwed either. They get paid but their egos are eating at them either now or later.

yeah, because timing and trust in short yardage, 3rd down is everything. You can tell his timing with Olave & CGM are off just a bit by the passes behind them or he puts it on a spot deep and olave loses it

103/128 in 2021 between them two. that's the kind of connection you want, even in spot duty

While true. Anyone wanting a full rebuild should actually want them to move Shaheed. He's one of the few assets that would have netted draft picks that the team can financially afford to move. He'll be due a payday in the offseason, and his next contract could be in the $8-12M (would rank between 22nd-34th highest paid) a year range.
