Warren/Wilks/Glover rotation would be sick.

inside.

Glover absolutely dominated in 2000. 17 sacks wasn't it?

for an interior D-line player thats fricking crazy. Had Norman Hand occupying double teams on the other side.

Lorenzo Neal was better than Karney.

Joe Johnson was better than will Smith.

Horn and Eric Martin are close.

Hoby was in no way as good as graham. Better blocker yes, but slow as molasses.

Vaughn Johnson was better than Vilma imo.

Nicks is a million times better than naole.

Hobie was a lineman first and a receiver second.

That's why he was better than Jimmy Graham. Brenner was a maniac. Jimmy was a pussy.

It was a feeling of confidence knowing the Dome Patrol was serving and protecting the scoreboard.

Hoby didn't drop balls.
Jimmy was shite at run block.
Gimme Hoby and you'll see a better team.

Agree with all of this.

Damn, the Saints have had some great return specialists. Have to try to get Mel Gray in there somehow.

Bitter sweet..
They were amazing.. and our offense wasn't too shabby..
But it was during the 49er greatness.. and they were in our division at the time..
Sooo... we could only get so far..
That was a great era of football in general..

It really was. Yeah that Niner monster was every bit as inevitable at the Bama machine us to LSU today. Rams were no slouches back then either. Still remember being in The Dome for Willie Flipper's dissection.

That 10-6 three way tie in 88 when we were left out of the playoffs is still a bitter pill to swallow

GOOD list! I would probably go with Wes Chandler at WR, but who do you drop? Always thought Chandler would have been a perennial Pro-Bowler (with the Saints) if we had a decent QB...

Here's another name for you at TE...

Wesley Walls. Granted wasn't here long and made a name in Carolina but dude could play. Not deserving of this list though, just reminded me of him.

You wanted to see the DEF on the field b/c these guys would make a play! They were relentless pass-rushers, sure-tacklers and they brought the wood. It was great seeing all 4 of them in the Pro Bowl. Great time to be a Saints fan - Who Dat, Cha-Ching, I believe, Bless You Boys, etc.

I'll never forget a 11am Sunday mass. Kickoff was at noon, believe we were playing the 49ers. Priest did not give a homily/sermon. He passed a few notes and said we ALL needed to get home for kick-off, bless you boys in the name of the father, son and holy ghost. Crowd erupted in laughter and clapping. He rolled into the Eucharist, communion, and we were gone. Again, it was truly a great time to be a Saints Fan!

I'd put Reggie Bush here, not Sproles.

Also, I'd put Gleason as an honorary team captain
