Stink was the weak link on the line, I knew that, but Evans fat, rich arse and Nicks better step up their blockin because RB's are barely seeing any daylight like they used too.

and I know Ingram isn't used to that shite, I mean his nervous arse looks like he's always ready to explode through holes!

for those curious, saves them $3.4m this year, $400k in 2012 ($3m cap hit vs. $3.4m saved in base salary).

The "want to go younger" comment from Payton (don't see any evidence he actually saying this) tells me Brown is next, though it may not happen until after week 3 or so, when they get some more time to see Turk/Jordan/Charleston/Juneyah. They can do something with that $6m saved between the two.

And though I wish him luck, this cracks me up (from NOLA.com):

quote:

Saint's tackle Jon Stinchcomb arrives at the New Orleans Saints training facility in Metairie on July 27. On Monday, he was released from the team.

I can picture him yelling to the cameramen: "HEY GUYS! THIS IS GONNA BE A GREAT YEAR! I PROMISE I'LL BE BETTER!"

But, but, but . . .

IT'S ONLY PRESEASON!!!!

No one can make any judgments, right?

Glad Sean Payton is making decisions and not this board.

So anyone think there's a chance we re-sign in a few days at a reduced rate?

If Foster or Barron make the team, the Saints are in trouble.

They'll be in trouble because of their OT that will only see the field if Strief AND one of either Bushrod or Brown get hurt? How many teams do you think have good #4 OTs?
