I don’t get to see as many college players as some do, but Taylor is a guy I would have loved for the Saints to have taken. I didn’t think much of the QBs in this draft and would have been happy to try a mid rounder and hope for the best with Rattler or the 2026 draft. Strangely, that could have led to picking Sanders. In any case, I don’t fault management at all on going with Shough; just not what I’d have done.

This is who we should have drafted instead of Shough in the 2nd round. The Jets picked him right after we wasted our 2nd on a QB that might start a few games this season. Next season he will be rotting on the bench while holding a touch screen computer for the guy we draft #1.
