Jay Glazer of Fox sports says that Brees isn't 100%healthy. The veteran Quarterback also is unsure how healed his ribs are because he can't have another x-ray due to the amount of radiation he's already sustained from past x-rays..

I kind of suspected this anyway but shite.

Here's another link.

Not 100% unsure meaning he's sure? I am confusion.

Man the Saints are taking a huge gamble here. Could easily end in disaster. I would not play him.

Rushing him back is making me kind of nervous. Now with MT out for the rest of the regular season, I might be fine with resting everyone who needs it and taking 12-4 or even 11-5 since we have already clinched a playoff birth.

As I’ve said, this single game is not as important as having him healthy for the playoffs. If he’s not 100%, he should sit until he is

The move reeks of desperation, shame Payton didn't have the boys ready to play in Philly and has to resort to this.

Well, it says they can’t confirm it because he’s had too much radiation in a certain amount of time. When is that time up? Can he get X-RAYS next week? The week after? I’m sure he’s going on how he feels plus what the doctors believe is at least the minimum of time it would take to heal.

This is dumb.
Why?

They must be healed enough for him to feel comfortable. Remember, he pulled himself from the SF game.

Better be the media juat trying to hype game even more bc if its true, its a boneheaded move.

At his age, ribs may take awhile to heal.
Posted on 12/20/20 at 2:55 pm to hellsu
Then don’t play him today! The Saints are beating the Chiefs anyway, why risk it?
Posted on 12/20/20 at 2:55 pm to hellsu
Ribs are not the type of injury that require 100% heal. Not even 50%. It’s a pain tolerance thing
Posted on 12/20/20 at 2:59 pm to hellsu
Hopefully he can play well today!

I mean its just a rib. Isn't it basically as long as he can tolerate the pain he's fine to play? Not like we are talking about a blown out shoulder or something
