And drew was under pressure the whole game while being rattled.

Saints didn’t play Dallas in 09.
What year are you thinking of?

We were 13-0 and they put it on us pretty good.

Except for the fact we haven't clinched yet. We can play our way out of the playoffs all together as soon as next week if Falcons and Seahawks win too.

Whoops sorry it was the incorrect score that threw me.
Saints did play and lose to Dallas in 09.
I’m wrong. Please feel free to rake me over the coals

Tony Romo predicted all of our plays back then too

They did. It was before you jumped on the bandwagon apparently.

Actually on that one I believe we secured the first seed so we threw away the last three games on purpose. Worked out well againt Arizona and Vikings back then.

Yeah Ware was supposed to be out with a neck injury but ended up playing anyway. Bushrod had him one on one all night long & it ended up being a mismatch. No chipping or double teams because Ware wasn't gameplanned for nor did Payton make any adjustments during the game.

Not only that but Greer & Porter were out with injuries. It forced a then rookie, Malcolm Jenkins to cover Miles Austin one on one most of the game. Jenkins lost that battle for most of the game.

Vikings went 12-4. And lost weeks 15 and 16. We went 13-3. No first seed was secured when we lost to the cowboys

That game wasn't close. The o line was dominated and I think it was Damarcus ware that ate it up.

We scored late to make it look closer than it was

Except that year we had a bunch of great wins against good teams. Other than Carolina away we've pretty much lost to our likely playoff competitors. Hopefully we can sweep the Falcons
