Actually on that one I believe we secured the first seed so we threw away the last three games on purpose. Worked out well againt Arizona and Vikings back then.

Uh no. Demarcus Ware single handidly beat the shite out of us.

Not only that but Greer & Porter were out with injuries. It forced a then rookie, Malcolm Jenkins to cover Miles Austin one on one most of the game. Jenkins lost that battle for most of the game.
this is a good similarity to this game right here. OP, congratulate this man.

This game is very similar. We were on a roll and offense just goes to shite.

Hopefully all the same will come of it

not really. they beat us by 6.

If my memory serves me correct, we had to score like 24 points in the fourth. Before that they were killing us.

They didn’t throw away those games on purpose, at least definitely not the Cowboys game. They had injuries to a couple key players. You could see that Cowboys loss coming from the couple weeks before. Once they did lose that one game I think it allowed them to focus on just getting healthy.

Except that year we had a bunch of great wins against good teams. Other than Carolina away we've pretty much lost to our likely playoff competitors. Hopefully we can sweep the Falcons

I'm not concerned. We've only lost at MN, at LA, and vs. NE. The LA loss was with a beat up secondary after an emotional, come from behind win. We've got this. I'm not saying the Saints will definitely win the SB (that's always a high mountain to climb) but they'll be enjoyable to watch and make a good showing. If things fall just right, they can win, but they won't be the favorite to do so.

Whoops sorry it was the incorrect score that threw me.

13-0 was our record. Not the score of the game. Cmon man.
