what exactly are you arguing here? Bush made some huge plays that were created by design. brees made a bonehead play that went for 6 the other way. go ahead and throw him under the bus.
Reggie is not producing the big plays any longer. I've been the biggest reggie supporter for the longest and this is my first time stepping off the bandwagon. He's not doing hardly shite in the punt return game, the receiving game nor the running game. We're sitting here giving reggie praise for picking up a couple blitzes which are a running back's fricking job and bc reggie went in motion and the OLB took one step inside than before, reggie is being given credit, no that's just play design. Production is needed from reggie on a consistent basis, not he shows up 1 game once a year. I give other players shite for not producing consistently, i will give reggie shite too.

Alot of the 1st downs were directly related to the defensive adjustments to bush set in motion before the snap. That blitz pickup for the conversion to Meach, first down to Graham, TD to Graham, etc...
Good post, and I'm not being a sarcastic douche here.
Reason why it's a good post? Reggie Bush is an enigma wrapped around a riddle. Is he great? Is he a bust? I'm still trying to figure it out. Maybe I don't know enough about pro football to figure it out.
So, I'm always interested and paying attention when there's any kind of analysis of Reggie Bush's game.

I'm not disagreeing with any of this, but believe it or not, they are adjusting to Bush and Payton designs the play with that sole idea in mind. It works, as evident by the results last night.

Whether you believe it or not, defenses adjust to all kinds of players when they shift out of the backfield, not just a guy named reggie bush.

Thanks, and thanks for the new sig quote.

Reggie Bush is like a hot bitch that can't cook, can't clean nor can carry an intelligent conversation. Do you keep her cause she's pretty and gets a lot of looks but not worth a shite or cut that bitch loose and let her go be your neighbors prize trophy.

Chad, it sounds like your problem isn't so much with Reggie but with his contract. That's not necessarily his fault. All the Saints had to go on when signing him were A) his order taken in the draft, which was #2 overall and 2) his college career, which was undeniably remarkable.
Now we know he is what he is. His value will be drastically diminished, at least in what the Saints can determine his monetary worth to be. If he thinks he's worth more, then he'll walk. He'll probably be a Falcon, but we pretty much expect that, right?

I saw several instances where the whole defense shifted left or right depending on which way Reggie motioned pre-snap. The first time I paused (DVR ftw!) and pointed it out to my roommate, who is a big Reggie hater, and even he admitted that Reggie obviously has a big role in the offense and can burn the defense if they don't account for him. The fact is Reggie doesn't earn the money he's paid but he is a big part of our offense. With a good restructuring of his contract coming up, I don't see him going anywhere. Reggie is a great role model and helps out the city every bit he can. He's a class act and a huge part of the offense, and I don't see SP letting him go anytime soon.

No, his lack of production is my bigger issue.
7 games: 80 yds rushing, 153 receiving yds, 85 return yds.

He hasn't had a good year. I don't think anyone disagrees with you here.

I'm not worried about Reggie other than his impact on the payroll right now. As far as I'm concerned, if he gets used as an offensive decoy and the Saints ride it all the way to Dallas, fine by me.

His contract isn't a matter of fault, it's a matter of fact. It's something you include in the discussion no matter what player you are talking about

his production has decreased every year since his rookie year with regard to his rushing and receiving yards.
Only 2008 does his return ability stand out. 1 out of 5 years.

Will it ever become his fault? Cause this is year 5 entering year 6 of its still not his fault.
