Look I like Reggie. He does cause matchup problems, but come on man. He is like the highest paid RB in the league. They are 20 other guys in the league that demand a whole lot more respect than Bush..

Man, ya'll are turning this into something negative that doesn't even need to go there. I didn't say a damn thing about his money, running skills (or lack thereof), return skills, snaps, playing time. I didn't reference any of that. All I'm saying is, "good game Reggie". "Thanks for contributing to the big plays that helped us win."
That is all.

Yes. They have to...
They don't have to. They left Graham isolated on the corner out there and gave Drew a window for the slant. If Jones or Thomas motions wide on the goal line and a 8' TE is left iso'd on a corner, I'm not adjusting the line.

I'm not trying to justify Reggie, I'm just saying that he needed to be accounted for in the passing routes more than any other back on the roster.

Maybe I'll give you JJ but PT has a history of being a VERY dangerous receiver out of the backfield.

He does good things like you stated. He does bad things like killing a drive last night when they hand him the ball on 3rd and 1 and instead of running it to daylight on a cut inside he carries it all the way to the sideline for no gain.

I hope he stays on the team but he is not worth the money. They need to work a new deal.

Reggie went out of the backfield, and motioned into the left upper deck, the OLB took one step inside. JUst shut the hell up with your hyperbole dramantics already. It's fricking ridiculous. It's play design, not reggie brilliance you asswipe.

Right, but "out of the backfield" is the key phrase. On this particular play, Reggie motioned out of the backfield and then across the line (toward your living room) and flanked wide. Thomas does his damage on screens and outlet passes from behind the line as opposed to Reggie motioning out and lining up as a receiver. There's a difference.

And I cussed him for 10 minutes after that play. By the way, it was 3rd and 2. I know this, because I was screaming about just cutting upfield for 2 fricking yards. He should be aware of that by now, and he fricked us on that play. Look, I agree with you 100%. Yes he is overpaid, and yes I would like to keep him for a reworked deal. But for attention whores like chad to be calling me a pussy for giving a saints player credit for making some crucial plays in a big game is just weak on so many levels.

I seen a lot of atl defensive players chasing saints all over the field without the ball. It's kind of the art of playing defense.

what exactly are you arguing here? Bush made some huge plays that were created by design. brees made a bonehead play that went for 6 the other way. go ahead and throw him under the bus.

No, he gets more attention. I was at the game and watched how both a lb and a safety shadowed him on every play and how, when he went to the slot, Drew found single coverage on the opposite side because the safety shifted to Bush.
