Years I would’ve traded quarterbacks with LSU. Probably WRs too

2 things. I don’t see Manning coming out. And the last thing, i think he has potential but, not sure how anyone can believe Nuss is some savior for a franchise after what i saw last year. He has to make a massive leap for you to even consider this.

Ban bet that we don’t have a top 5 pick next year? Ban from this board for a year so we don’t have to read your terrible takes.

Those mock drafts are just an indication of how people feel that Saints will easily be picking in the top 5 as one of the worst teams in the nfl.

Las Vegas is laying odds the Saints pick in the top 3 next year…..and Vegas is alive and well, making money hand over fist, because their predictions are mostly correct.

The over /under is set at 6.5. It's not a prediction. It's a number to bet on but if they believe we are picking top 3, wtf they don't have it set to 4.5?

We don't have DA. We should have a better OLINE, Better rushing and possibly a better defense. QB is questionable but Shough and /or Rattler will have to plain suck for us not to win 5 games again.

But we now have our 27 year old rookie QB.

As did the St louis Rams in 1999.

Again… then it’s Nussmeier

Maybe but you have an entire year of college football before they'd have to decide. We could all be happily-shocked by Shough's performance next year and the QB question goes away.

And yet Nuss will get drafted higher next year.

Better comparison woukd be to Trevor Lawrence, that’s the qb class Shough came out of. You know, the guy taken in the 2021 draft, half a decade ago….

You can bookmark this but I have it on good authority that Arch fully intends to stay at UTA for his senior year regardless of the Saints. Also, the perceived ill-will that Archie had regarding the Saints has largely subsided and I have not heard anything about Arch (or Cooper for that matter) pulling an Uncle Eli if the Saints did pick him. Yes, sauces.

Been hearing the same things out of Texas. Not only that, but the Mannings stayed their full time in college. And that’s when they weren’t getting paid.

Texas will pay him more than the NFL to stay an extra year if they have to. So why leave?

Works out in our favor tho, Shough can start the next two years and by then he will be close to 40 and it’ll be time to replace him with Arch in ‘27

Who knows? Shough may come out and shock the world like Purdy did. We have to give the kid time. Haener is NOT the answer, and Rattler, as much as I like the kid, is not the answer.

I think we all know that finding anything close to another Drew Brees is impossible. But we need someone that will be a leader. Someone that the team will huddle around for and ball-out game after game for.

With what Shough has said recently and given his age and maturity level, who knows what will happen?

I wouldn't mind 34 year old Drew Brees back there taking snaps if we're being fantastical.
