rotoworld summary was decent:

Fargas would be an older clone of restricted free agent Mike Bell, who the Eagles signed to an offer sheet on Tuesday. The visit is a sign that the Saints don't think Lynell Hamilton can fill that bruising, clock chewing role.

I'd say the Saints might question if Lynell Hamilton can fill that bruising, clock chewing role and/or stay healthy.

I really like Fargas, always produced in Oakland even when the passing game wasn't helping him out at all. Not sure I would bother unless someone goes after PT or Bush, in which case I think he would be a bargain.

Justin is injury riden. Got hurt is Senior year at Notre Dame H.S., blew his knee out at USC and has had serious injury issues in Oakland. Would really rather Bell.

mike bell isn't exactly your token of good health. would have a guaranteed $500k we would need to match and an increased salary of 1.7M that may be too much in the eyes of the front office.

Fargas is a really underrated back. He's put up some nice numbers on terrible Oakland teams.

He's very similar to Bell in that he runs extremely hard. He would be a really nice addition. I have a friend who's a Raiders fan so i've seen a lot of him

That's the big question....what do we get him for.

Frankly, if they're seeing Fargas, I hope it's just as a goodwill gesture.

Not really. Isn't pretty obvious that whoever signs Fargas will do it for a minimum contract?

The question is whether Farga, for the extra money, will give you that much more as a 3rd string back instead of Hamilton...

I'd like the signing. He's similar to Bell but can catch and has put up decent numbers with the Raiders. Not much to complain about for a 3rd back.

He'd be an instant fan favorite due to his playing style. Guy runs hard 24/7.
