Despite a looming coaching change, non-traditional salary cap situation, and their record, the #Saints are not planning to tear it all down and rebuild. My story on where they stand, now and in the future: nfl.com/news/saints-no…

This team is just content on being stuck in Loomis mediocrity until the end of time. Loomis is just completely out of touch with reality.

They'll rebuild when nobody goes to the games anymore.

After the Saints relocate.

Ownership must think Saints fans are stupid to accept this. I see tickets for $34 for what would normally be one of the most anticipated games of the season.

Loomis mediocrity

The article is premised on the assumption that Loomis is still the gm. If he is, then I would agree there's no rebuild, but more can kicking. Will be interesting to see if Gayle moves him out of that role, especially with all the news coming out about how pathetic a coach DA was, and Loomis still wanting to keep him.

I mean they financially cannot "tear it all down". Ideally they just approach free agency the same. Low risk, high reward and hope to draft well, do better in 26

You are blind if you think being mediocre is the likely result of "not rebuilding".
This franchise is entering a period of being perpetually the worst in the league until and unless it decides to bite the bullet. Even then, it will only succeed if it has competent people making good decisions.

I hate this team so fricking much sometimes. It’s insane that loomis continues to have a job.

The options are:
A: 2-3 years of suck, potential for good after
B: 1 year of suck, mediocrity at best later

This is a nothing report

As of right now the Saints are in line for the third pick in 2025 draft...

Don’t go to the games and don’t spend another dime on merchandise.

Nothing will change or even begin to improve until a new owner is in place.
