We have a very winnable slate of games ahead, and Jameis should be very inspired to play well enough to earn him a big contract a la Teddy.

Hill looks to be every bit as good of a passer as crab legs based on Yesterdays underwhelming performance from the former Seminole QB.

This seems prime to set him up to return for the big Chiefs game at Christmas. Our next 4 games are the Falcons twice, Broncos and Eagles so we should have no problem going 2-2 with Winston. That pretty much locks up the top seed and bye for the Packers but it is what it is. I think we see a good bit of Taysom at QB too.

#Saints QB Drew Brees suffered a rib contusion in yesterday’s game, and he’ll have an MRI for cartilage damage today. But sources tell me and @TomPelissero that New Orleans is bracing for Brees to miss some time to fully heal.

This is probably the best case scenario.

It doesn't seem like he would miss 6 weeks with a rib contusion. If he has severe cartilage damage maybe, but QBs come back from that with protection usually quicker than 6 weeks.

He'll be getting the best therapy as well. Optimistic view is he's starting to feel better in a couple of weeks and they strategically target his return as necessary.

Yeah Hill reminds me of a tougher Josh Allen, bypass Winston

iirc he had his shoulder taped up against TB or maybe the week before. Would make sense why he's had trouble throwing downfield.

He'd be a starting QB if he was a tougher Josh Allen. He's a faster homeless man's Josh Allen.

How the hell does a rib contusion take a month to heal?

I broke two ribs last year while setting a screen playing basketball. I did basically the same thing Brees did...kind of moved it around, rubbed it, and kept playing. It felt weird, but didn't feel like what I thought a broken rib would feel like. I played fine for about 45 more minutes, but it started to stiffen up on me. From the end of the game to about 2 hours later when I was going too bed, I couldn't breath and could barely lay down. I can see him thinking he could play through and just not being able to do it a few minutes later.
