Raiders, especially Davante Adams, have to be missing Derek Carr.

I was just thinking the same thing. Josh McDaniels is such a chode.

From Oct 28th

Davante Adams hasn’t talked much about Derek Carr leaving the Raiders, but he shared some of his thoughts on Friday.

Adams was a guest on the Rich Eisen Show and was asked directly about how he felt after losing Carr.

“I mean I came here to play with Derek. I can’t say I would have been here if he wasn’t here,” Adams said.

If they take thomas or even Olave we can work something out

Thomas contract makes him untradeable. Plus Thomas is still our ONLY WR that can make catches while taking hard contact, and the ONLY WR that can make strong hands only catches from Carr's fastballs out of thin air without having to trap against his body. Adams can make the strong handed catches too, but he is still more of a vertical WR than Thomas so we would then have a gap to fill on the short/intermediate routes in the middle of the field.
Olave definitely needs to step it up and get his head on but he's only 23 and still on a rookie contract on his way to his second 1,000 yard season in only his sophomore campaign. The only way you trade him is if inside the building they felt he is potentially a bad egg (way worse than anything close to what we've seen on game film and way worse than a sober speeding ticket) that would make them believe he would become bad for the locker room.

Now if you look to next season if Thomas ends up not being re-signed then depending on compensation Adams could be a great addition

Watching that game and the coaching prowess of Josh McDaniels, that was the first time I was happy to have DA. JM sucks even harder. Lions couldn’t stop the run, but let’s keep throwing with our injured quarterback over and over anyway. At least DA can field a defense.

And at one point there were posters on here wanting McDaniels and several others defending McDaniels because he was a good OC. As you said, at least with DA stepping in as HC, his defense doesn't go to shite. Somehow when McDaniels is a HC, his offenses get a lot worse.

That video that went viral of the raiders fan screaming at Mark Davis at the chargers game was incredible

Edit: he was basically saying fire Josh McDaniels but not in those words

Why would they miss Derek Carr?

Jimmy G is pretty much the same thing

Jimmy already has one more win than Derek had at this point last year. Raiders started off the year 2-8 in 2022. Raiders are 3-5 right now. Not to mention Carr costs $10mill/year more than Jimmy G. Oh and he has about $55million more guaranteed than Jimmy. They can easily walk away from Garrapolo. Saints are stuck with Carr, but keep talking out your arse.

I'm not backing Carr, but they'd be 4-4 if not 5-3 with Carr and not JG & co.

Both 1 score losses:
Pittsburgh loss (turnovers) is on JG
Backups lost (turnovers) vs LA Chargers

Hell you can blame the offense last night for the loss too

There's literally no way to know this. It's funny how truthers blame the Raiders for Carr sucking. Now he's at the Saints and truthers blame Pete and DA. But now the raiders are technically doing better or at least the very same as they were with Carr, and now the Raiders 'miss Carr' and would have a winning record. Carr has only had two winning seasons in his career.

Well at least they aren’t dicking around for mediocrity. They just fired Head Coach and GM. They aren’t afraid of making tough decisions.

Not sure how we could've seen this coming? Now we have the worst again. Damn.
