You caught the "ifs" but you missed the next comment where they all said it was "a damned good pick".

Every single pick in the draft is an “if”….

"Olave has toughness in the middle of the field"

What is this dude talking about.
Olave goes easily after every throw.
They dont dare throw to Olave across the middle.

I guess you weren't watching ESPN when one of the guys said about Arvel Reese that his pass rush was a question mark. There are if's on all these guys.

Damn right. And he never hurt the same thing twice. He was so grateful for that top 10 paycheck and you could just sense that he wants to silence all the offseason “noise”. We got a good one I think. This kid is gonna be fun to watch. He’s better than Chris Olave ever was. Olave wished he could move like that and clown defenders leaving them running by themselves .. they will complement each other well I think.

This chart says otherwise. Not counting the deep middle post routes, 1 out of every 5 routes he runs is over the middle, and hitches where the DB is going to be right on him accounts for another 1 in 5.

He is put in the line of fire often, so yes there is a toughness there of going over the middle, but that doesn't mean he needs to take stupid hits doing it by staying up as a DB or LB barrels down on him.
