-I thought Latavius Murray would have a higher score.

-Jared Cook must have had a bad game blocking, b/c he looked good in the passing game. 68.2 is still a pretty good score, but I thought it would be higher.

-66.3 is a pretty good score for Peat. PFF usually has him in the 30's or 40's.

-Erik McCoy had a very tough job against that front 7. This will probably be his worst score of the year though.

-Need Armstead & Ramczyk to stay healthy, b/c they bring it every week.

-Our DT's scores suck. They didn't look that bad to me.

-Our DE's scores a very good, & they looked very good. Hendrickson & Granderson need to keep it up.

-Demario Davis always starts off slow on PFF, but always raises his score by about week 3 or 4.

-I don't know why PFF dislikes Lattimore so much. They did the same thing to him last year. I thought he, Janoris & Ceedy Duce were solid in coverage.

-I like the duo of Marcus Williams & Malcolm Jenkins at Safety. They play smart & are rarely out of position.

-It looks like Swearinger has lost a little speed with age. I'll take him as the #3 Safety though. He hits hard & has a lot of valuable experience.

He had a really bad drop.

I don't understand it either.

They do grade kickers & punters very hard though. Morstead's score is 67.1 & that was the 3rd best score for punters in the league.

Kids who strictly played JV are doing these scores… I would put very little weight into this

So Latt "gives up" one catch all game because Allen decided to run a zone play near the goalline, and winds up with a 44?

I mean I want to like pff scores, and I get that there is more that goes into it, but it's not like we gave up ANY big runs to bring his score down, and any dump offs to the flat that are wide open are by design because of Allen's nothing deep defense.

So where did he play so badly?

And don't get me started on Davis and the DTs being graded so poorly. You keep them to under 80 yards rushing and bring pressure all day and somehow get shite scores.

When Peat misses a block, it's visible from the upper deck and then no one notices how well he plays the next 3-4 series. He had a great block that sprung Kamara on a screen.

And he had 5-6 blown blitz assignments. Peats grade is a joke. I think he’s a somewhat solid OG with versatility and people do hate him even when he isn’t playing badly but he got abused pretty much all game. Did have a nice open field block to spring Kamara loose. He also almost whiffed the block completely.

Didn't he have one of the long pass interference penalties? Still shouldn't have hurt his score that much.

If so it wouldn't be enough to tank what otherwise seemed like a great game. But I think that was one of the bs PI calls, and pff is supposed to take that into account (how egregious a penalty is).

Yeah and I’m not sure that even falls on lattimore. Davis seemed to be the one covering him while lattimore was More near the flat

He had that, and he was probably penalized for the hand slap/pushing penalty.

Where did Evans rank?

Our back 5 is really fricking good. I don’t think people realize just how good we are back there.

I think our back 5 is easily top 5 in the league. We also have PJ Williams, P-Rob, & Swearinger coming off the bench.

Our D-Line & secondary is legit & ridiculously deep. LB isn't deep, but I like our starters. Anzalone needs to stay healthy this year, & a healthy Kiko Alonso would give us nice depth.

This team will make it deep in the playoffs if we stay relatively healthy.

Saints gonna bring in Grant Haley at slot CB. Wonder if someone is dinged up there

I really wanna see what Zack Baun brings to the table. It’s interesting that they worked him in the middle, but that very well could be that we rely so heavily on nickel packages.

He’s nasty off the edge. What can he do in the middle?

This is telling with regards to Ceedy Duce (CGJ) too. Perhaps they see him as a true Safety and want to limit his time at the nickel.

I wish they would have done that with PJ...

I think only the coaches can answer that. I'm pretty sure he was a 3-4 OLB in college, so even watching college tape probably wouldn't answer that question.

Baun & Kaden Elliss are question marks at this point...as far as playing LB goes. Robertson is a good emergency LB, but he's not as good as a few years ago due to his age.
