PJ Williams was banged up last game, & wasn't even active.

Trey Hendrickson - 70.6...30/103 ED

Watching the game a second time and for all intents and purposes, he was responsible for 3 sacks.

The first was obvious. The second was an intentional grounding. The third was when he touched TB down after a fumble.

The fumble one was caused by, and correctly attributed, to Granderson. If he doesn't strip the ball then Brady doesn't have to run up and fall on it.

Saying that one was caused by Hendrickson is disingenuous.

And that's not to take away from the good day Hendrickson had. I think he should be rated higher. But we don't need to take away other players' proper credit.

Where did Evans rank?

You're not going to like the answer to this question, b/c Lattimore is the 1 that gave him this score. Brady's score seems a little odd & quite frankly...ridiculous. Tampa's interior OL had great scores.

QB Tom Brady - 82.9 (This isn't a joke)
RB Ronald Jones - 59.5
WR Mike Evans - 48.4 (Ranked 101/105 WR's)
WR Chris Godwin - 65.7
TE OJ Howard - 78.6
TE Rob Gronkowski - 59.8
OC Ryan Jensen - 82.6
OG Ali Marpet - 78.5
OG Alex Cappa - 73.1
LT Donovan Smith - 64.0
RT Tristan Wirfs - 61.5 (I saw him get embarrassed on a couple of plays)

DE William Gholston - 59.6
DT Vita Vea - 70.0 (He looks like he's going to be a good player)
DE Ndamukong Suh - 52.3
OLB Shaq Barrett - 58.0
ILB Devin White - 55.0 (So damn fast for that size)
ILB LaVonte David - 63.7 (I thought he had a damn good game)
OLB Jason Pierre-Paul - 70.0
CB Sean Murphy-Bunting - 75.9
CB Carlton Davis - 56.9
S Antoine Winfield - 77.3 (Rookie 2nd rounder...not bad)
S Jordan Whitehead - 47.2

I can't stress this enough...look at the talent on their front 7. Gholston isn't a great pass rusher, but he's very good against the run. This front 7 is nasty, & was a great 1st test for our offense.

The secondary is young, but talented. Hopefully their DB's don't figure it out this year, b/c the potential is there.

CB Sean Murphy-Bunting - 2019 2nd rounder
CB Carlton Davis - 2018 2nd rounder
S Antoine Winfield - 2020 2nd rounder
S Jordan Whitehead - 2018 4th rounder

I don't pretend to know how the PFF scores work, but how is this possible. How could they both have terrible games/scores? I would think either Latt's score would need to be low because the guy he was covering killed it; or Evans score is low because Latt shut him down (earning a higher score).

As they should. The interior o-line played well and gave Brady clear lanes to step-up to avoid the pressure from the outside.

I'm perplexed. The only legitimate reason I can think of is they screwed up Lattimore's ranking, b/c Evans deserves his shitty score. It just doesn't add up.

12:20 2Q he wiffs miserably on a run play to the opposite side that leads to a loss of 2 yards.

Very next play is the TD in the screen play to Kamara and he didn’t lay a hand on anybody (not that he needed to) and looked pretty bad doing so

:57 2Q his man beats him on a bull rush

7:47 3Q doesn’t lay a hand on anybody on a toss dive to his side

6:25 3Q he picks up the wrong man on blitz and allows pressure right up the middle leading to incompletion and almost a sack

2:22 3Q he completely wiffs on run block

12:47 4Q he allows pressure which causes Brees to flee the pocket and rush his throw, incompletion

11:27 4Q was supposed to block LB on next level but couldn’t get his hands on him at all

Not terrible but not great either.

Hendrickson touched him “down”. If they attributed it to granderson I’m okay with that.
