Seems reasonable.
Day 1 was okay.
Day 2 was just a complete reach.
Day 3 was good.

You're missing the fact that they were running a 3-4 and had guys labeled appropriate to that as far as position, only having 1 DT spot on the field.

I get the point you are making but you can play a nose and a dt in a 3 man alignment. That's exactly what the rams did when Staley was there.

Draft grades the day after the draft are stupid and anyone who puts weight into them isn’t very bright either.

Will be a DE.

Godchaux will be starting nose with Saunders and Boyd likely his backup.

Sheppard will be a rotational piece and I don't know anything about Ridgeway.

I'd imagine Cam Jordan or Chase Young will be the other DE, unless CY moves out on the OLB spot. Granderson will be our Edge. Broughton can more than likely backup both DE spots. Some of these guys will likely get cut, injured, etc. Once you get through cuts and injuries and start the season, our depth isn't as good as it seems to be right now on paper.

You're thinking way too 1 Dimensionally about this.

Sort of like basketball, Defenses are becoming more and more Multiple and positions don't matter quite as much as they used to.

You'll see guys Bresee or Broughton that would play DTs in a 3 man front playing 3/4 Ends sometimes.

You'll see guys like Young lining up outside. You'll see them run 4 man fronts with his hand in dirt, and "Two Man" fronts but with 2 Dts and then Young and say, Granderson, Standing up at the line of scrimmage.

reach or not, if Kellen envisions Shough as his guy at QB, you roll with it and see what you get. the whole point is to get the players your staff grades well, and not settle for previous coaches retreads.

until Kellen gives me reason to not trust his decisions, i place my faith in him to build the roster - and honestly you all should also. it is a clean slate on the coaching side - no Sean retreads, or holdovers, or internal promotions.

Nbc, bleacher report, fox, etc. are all media companies. Zero objectivity in their content.

PFF is not a media company. They are a data and analytics company. Doesn't mean they can predict the future but at least their content is fair and objective.
