In addition to a lack of talent in some areas, the main problem with the Saints is Carmichael. Apparently, Carmichael can teach and install an offense, but does not have the talent of a true coordinator. I would give Allen another shot, but he has to get rid of Carmichael.

Head coach: Mike Zimmer
OC: Frank Reich or Matt Nagy
DC: Jim Leonhard

I would go for that. I'd be happy with just getting frank reich at OC.

I do not know could take his place; I am not familiar with assistant coaches in the NFL.

Zimmer was always a good coach and I think you’d have to go with a defensive head coach to get Reich as OC. I don’t think he’s come here with Allen still at head coach though as he knows it would be a shite show next year.

Our two biggest weapons are Kamara catching passes out of the backfield and Tasom in the Taysom role. Both were grossly underutilized this year. In the past our offense clicked because of Payton and Brees. Carmichael was in the right place at the right time.

Designs great plays, but doesn't understand when to call them.

I do not Pete designs anything. I think he is just using old game plans that Payton used; this is not a recipe for sustained success. I do not think he knows how to break down defenses or make in game adjustments. We cannot really move the ball against, and other teams like the Bengals shred them.

His play calling was awful.

I wasn't a big fan of SP play calling mostly because he gambled too much and didn't play the odds, always risks and i personally think it cost us in big games. But he knew how to scheme against a defense and it was so evident compared to this year.

PC may as well go in retirement.

I don’t think Carmichael knows how to coach the offense during the week. They’re just poorly coached and that doesn’t even factor in the playcalling, which has also not been good.

He’s a great clipboard holder for Sean P. That’s his lot in life.

I'd rather lose being aggressive than being too conservative. Allen was way too conservative this year.
