Suh and Donald might rotate and take turns on Peat....Literally like running a train on him. I appreciate Peat trying to gut it out but if he is not playing significantly better on the first couple of series we need to put Bushrod in at guard.

What if Bushrod isn’t the backup guard tho?

He is our top backup at tackle and guard. He also has the size to have a chance against Donald and Suh. The bottom line is if Peat plays like he did last week we will get beat Sunday.

"Offensive lineman Jermon Bushrod, a two-time Pro Bowl selection entering his 12 th season, has appeared in 134 games with 122 starts and has the versatility to play tackle and guard.

Bushrod's arrival comes in the wake of Senio Kelemete's signing with the Houston Texans and Zach Strief's retirement, and he'll help fill the void as an interchangeable piece on the offensive line."

Yeah I agree if he starts getting beat bushrod needs to be put in. Peat needs to have the awareness to tell the coaches he is just too hurt to help the team. Hopefully the week helps take the pain down.

If he's getting beat it's the coaches job to be aware and take his butt out.

I'd like to think the coaches will have enough sense to adjust or pull him if he's still struggling.

He has played great most of the year but the last game was one of his most terrible ones since his rookie year. I'm chalking up to the injury. but yes Donald fixing to eat if he can live up to his normal play.

This is why I'd rather face the Pats than the Chiefs in the SB. Chris Jones against Peat is a recipe for disaster for us.

Ban bet? If Peat gets sodomized I'll stop posting. If not you will.

I mean what did you expect? He has a broken fricking hand.

But yeah, I'm nervous as shite. Just sucks that we are so banged up at literally the worst possible time at the most important position group of our offense.

I'd easily trade Ginn being out still for a healthy Peat.

I'd say a healthy Armstead & Peat. But cant discount some of the grabs Teddy has had since getting back.

If they test Peat out Sunday morning and he is still not ready to go, you have to start Bushrod and just play Peat if after the first series or 3 Bushrod is getting abused.

Peat is just not right, and if Fletcher Cox ate his lunch (and look, Cox is elite), then Donald/Suh is going to sodomize him in front of his entire family.

Chalk it up to the injury. A “fresh” hand injury on the line is almost impossible when playing elite level d players. He is def one tough sob for the effort though.

Sounds about right. He’s costing us big time. Tom is better right now

Exactly. I totally see why his play was bad. Jumping early/holding to overcompensate bc he cant use his hands well. It's really frustrating because Peat has been great.

They really need to evaluate the number on gameday rosters bc this is a direct result of that.

It's a certainty that from LA to New Orleans the position being most looked at by everyone is our LG.
No one is overlooking anything and we will start our best option.
If I'm a coach I'm telling Ram and Worford to get ready to have the best damn game of your life lol.
