Andrus Peat wouldn't detail his injury after the game, other than to say, "At this point, we got to have all hands on deck. The other team is hurt; I’m sure they have guys that are injured. (We do) as well, so you just got to go out there and battle.”

What a warrior. Sounds like he’s going to give it a go this week too.

As much as I love the attitude, If he can’t protect Drew without holding he needs to take himself out. Or Sean needs to make the call. I’d rather roll with a healthy backup than have him play the way he did yesterday.

That’s why there is a saying that goes “Are you injured or are you hurt”

One of the people on 100.3 ESPN New Orleans said he was playing with a broken hand.

Yeah, now I feel like an a-hole for getting frustrated with him yesterday.

Didn’t Ronnie Lott cut a finger off before missing a playoff game!

He seemed soft when we drafted him. I can only imagine what kind of pain he has, glad he’s playing through.

Dude had 5 penalties besides getting beat constantly by Cox and co

At what point is he a liability? It only gets tougher from here on out

Cox had zero QB hits or sacks.

The half a sack Jernigan had came against Warford/Unger after Ram got beat around the edge by Long.

Yes Peat had frick ups with penalties, but he kept Brees clean and was opening holes in the run game despite playing with a broken hand.

That's more than you can say for the entire rest of our Oline as each and every other player allowed a sack or QB hit (3 of them allowed the sack on the Long/Jernigan play and Armstead allowed a sack on another play).

The penalties hurt, but he didn't get Brees killed and we overcame them. I'd take holding over a sack all day everyday. No loss of down with holding like there is with a sack. It was smart play.

My point is it's a violent game but Peat knows what's at risk so kudos to him for dealing with it as best as he can. He is catching a lot of crap. Clear enough ?

You don’t need sacks and QB hits to affect Brees from the interior, all it takes is a push get rid of it quickly or leave the pocket. Cox beat Peat when he was actually in the game

You’re really trying to justify his play
He would be halal scapegoat had we lost that game.
