Am I the only one who believes that Payton would rather be fired than quit?

It's hard for me to believe that he thinks it's smart to play a rookie more than two pro bowl running backs and commit to a passing attack with mediocre receivers!

How many (non-retiring) NFL coaches just say, "ehhh i quit".

I bet he likes air instead of no air, too.

We were by far at our best moving the offense when we went three wide with Kamara and the backfield and just let Brees throw it to the open guy. We tried so hard to establish the run in the first half wiith Ingram and Peterson, I don't think we threw on first down once. It was extremely unsuccessful.

neither of those rb's are pro bowlers now, so your entire point is moot.

We are missing both starting tackles against a league best defense.it was always going to be a struggle

A "league best defense" doesn't allow Alex Smith the best game of his career. That's just insane and the numbers don't even back your claim.
