These guys are talking about the Giants making a trade for Sean Payton now that Joe Judge is gone. Are these guys desperate for content or just plain dumb?

These big markets think places like New Orleans are just farm teams.

look around the league and see how damn important a coach is. Teams like Carolina, New York, and Jacksonville have been struggling to find a decent coach even after going for can't miss guys.

I don't know what I would take to part with Sean unless he said he was going to bolt.

I wouldn’t consider an offer and would do everything in my power to keep Payton. I do not want to go back to pre Sean era. We already lost Brees, we can’t lose him too.

Payton has a year left on his deal. Not a peep out of his camp about his future. He’s done TV, and has ties to some of the big market vacancies. Expect to hear a lot of speculation on his future until he inks a new deal here

Would it shock me if he was traded or retired? Not really. Could be changing or the guard - Ireland to GM, Dennis Allen would become HC, Nielsen to DC, Carmichael/Brady OC? Change will come eventually

Yeah if it's time, I'm glad the Giants have 2 early 1st rounders and we have stability behind SP

You have no idea what your talking about. Payton is under contract through 2026.

When you start a statement with false facts, you have lost your whole argument.

This is an annual thing. At some point you just need to ignore it.

well, that site seems wrong since it shows his last contract being signed in 2018 when he signed an extension in 2019.

Yea, I reckon they are off a year on the contract extention, which throws off his walk year.

Found an old Triplett article where it says it'll run through 2024. Nonetheless, I dont believe a team would trade for Payton if he only had a year left. Two years, maybe

He and Loomis have control over what they need to control in N.O.

He would get zero control and a dipshite GM in NY.

That's what people fail to see. He has all the control in New Orleans, something which is hard to find in the NFL.

NYG has no GM currently.

As far as the OP is concerned, I put less than 0 stock in anything this group of blowhards has to say.

Gives us your two 1st rounders and Evan Engram.

Name Dennis Allen HC, Nielsen DC and find a good play caller.

It's funny how they think he would leave a comfortable place with several good pieces in place and only needing a QB and a #2 WR. For a complete rebuild situation.
