Can Allen run the defense and still manage being a HC?
Ryan Nielsen can take over DC duties. But I don't trust DA as the head coach.

Back to mediocrity the saints go ??

That's all we ever were before Payton

I think the fire Payton crowd on game days will soon find out how hard it is to consistently win in this league like Payton did
This isn’t great.
I’d say how is the time to tear it down and start the full rebuild, without Sean I doubt we’re in the running for these QBs on the market.

I honestly am pretty shook today. He was always there...no matter what the odds were on game day, he was always a reason why the Saints could win.
It's like this monolith of genius and stability are just gone now. It's irreplaceable. I don't know where they go from here.

Mediocre ? The saints were not even considered a mediocre franchise before this era

frick. I thought this day would never come. I thought he would find another quarter back and continue the successful. This hurts.

I might just put a plastic bag over my head and go to sleep. Damn ! This hurts.

Outside of Belechick, no coach stayed with the same team as long and he won a super bowl. Things have to end at some point.

Nothings changed imo, sign Winston. Carmichael at OC

Yeah this really sucks, I was hoping we had one more run with him and one of these QBs on the market. This season repeatedly told us it just wasn’t meant to be I guess

The #Saints will hold a press conference today to discuss Sean Payton’s time away and he’ll inform his staff in the coming minutes. End of an era in New Orleans.

Good. I hope they perpetually lose and sink into mediocrity for the rest of their existence. I wish all NFL teams would do the same.
