If we were a serious franchise I’d honestly try to work something out with Andrew’s’ people in Pensacola.

Oschner did that a few years ago

This was done in 2022 with a 5-year contract.

Find the least injured team in the NFL the last 5 years. Pick that medical staff. Not too difficult buddy.

Interesting. I wonder if that’s just them basically paying for the name recognition (kinda like my hospital does with Mt Sinai cardiac from New York) or if they ACTUALLY have orthos from Andrews with the saints in New Orleans. Will try to find something.

Evil Globalist company who pushed the mRNA COVID jabs harder than most any organization on the world. Very woke and pro transgender.

You're going to buy out another teams medical organization and move them here? Again, that would cost more than the team.

It's MDs from Ochsner, there are many people involved. This is not something that can be replaced easily. I would think LCMC is the only other option here and they are worse. We have so many injuries because the players are old and already injured like I've already said. Does anyone remember when we signed Chase Young? He had neck surgery right after. It's this type of dumb shite and giving huge contracts to 30+ year old players like Taysom Hill. Repeat this many times on 1 team and you're fricked.

I think some of you people would argue that putting a McDonald's in the Superdome was some grand conspiracy by Gayle Benson to keep the Saints bad and keep Loomis in his job.

if it's New Orleans and it's big medicine, then it's either Oschner or LCMC. That's it. If you're gonna argue that LCMC would be better than Oschner, then you better come with the evidence showing this, otherwise you're just spewing conspiracy theories.

You’re making the point. If NOLA doesn’t have enough good medicine it just isn’t a NFL city. Sell the team.

You do realize that in practically every major city, big medicine is shared between 1-3 conglomerates.

Plus, your argument is move the team, not sell the team.

The former team physician for 32 years of the Saints was Dr. Charles Brown*.

He was an oncologist. (Treated my dad, he was 0-1-0 with his cancer)

That's how dysfunctional NOLA can be.

* LSU Health Website Link from 2017 on Dr. Brown's death

Be cheaper to send the injured player there. Can't be worse than what we doing now.

You can't send the players on planes to other cities for medical care. It's literally every day and constant. Even players from other teams when they are here.

Um, did you actually read the obit? He retired from the team in 1999. No one involved with the team in a decision making capacity goes back that far. I think that's even pre-Dennis Lauscha.

So, this argument is an official fail.

That's like saying that the Saints are a joke because John Mecom once hired an astronaut to be GM in the 1970s. (which he did...Dick Gordon).

Blaming the Dr's for players injuries is like blaming the firefighters for your house burning down while you're cooking meth on the stove.

Saints fans aint too bright but they have a good time.

The Big O is better than LCMC and that’s the choices we had.

They named their cancer center after Tom and Gayle, you think they are ever switching???? Teams would need be sold before a medical staff switch will happen…
