The Saints draft room can't be more than 2 guys, a girl, and a pizza at this point.

I don't get it, why do most draft rooms have all those people ? Are they really needed..?

He serves his suspension and comes back with fresh legs

Hes getting suspended but could also mean Saints and Kamara might part ways. Who knows. We also signed Jamaal.

Great pick for the Giants. I’d imagine Tillman will come off the board soon.

Kamara will have to sit 4-6 games. They had to get a guy to go with Williams. Besides, AK and Williams are almost 30 too. RB usually fall off a cliff there.

I have heard through the gapevine that the Saints really like UCLA QB DTR and could pick him sometime in the late rounds.

Don’t shoot the messenger.

There’s a WR from West Virginia who is like 6’3 and has an insane RAS score. Wouldn’t be shocked if we get him later

Edit: his name is Bryce Ford-Wheaton

I guess they see Kamara getting suspended

oh, there's no doubt that's happening, and anyone who follows the NFL knows that...

but Miller is nothing like Kamara... he's a bruiser who runs through contact.. not really that much of a threat in the passing game, and not great with pass blocking...

guess we'll see, but this one has me a little confused, given the other options out there that would do a better job as a substitute for Kamara, and given we just got a bruiser with Williams...

Yeah I think in a sense you can dangle Kamara for a trade as well. RBs have a shelf life and Kamara might be hitting his.

I don’t think this pick has anything to do with 2023. This is a pick for 2025. IMO, he is a rotational guy who spells Kamara and Williams the next two years then takes over as our bell cow. Similar to what Deuce did with Ricky Williams.

Also, he and Williams will have to be the guy for 4-6 games during the suspension.

Yeah rbs dont sit for two years or just spell people sporadically. If he did, that means he sucks. I think this kid will get major carries in his rookie year.

Miller never showed much juice

b/c he doesn't have "juice" he's not gonna outrun people on this level, for sure... he may be able to run through them, but he's not about to speed away from the defense in the NFL

Good-sized back who can be tough to get on the ground … accelerates into contact and consistently falls forward thanks to his leg drive … presses the line with patience to find creases … lateral agility allows him to pick through the crowd at the line of scrimmage … able to drop his hips and cut back to force
overpursuit in space … better shake than expected for a bigger back … runs with balance to regain his footing through soft contact … will drop his pads and burrow through holes at the goal line … NFL coaches will appreciate his competitive fight as a ball carrier … wasn’t targeted often but showed promising hands when he was … flashes violent hands/extension in pass pro (he isn’t consistent with it, but we know he has it in him) … one of only nine FBS players with at least 17 rushing touchdowns in 2022 … registered at least one explosive play (20-plus yards) in 12 of 14 games in 2022 … impressive 6.7 yards per carry average in college.

Stop it. I like Spears but I think we’re overating him a bit.
