If I was a betting man, I would say it will probably be Aaron Glenn.

I just want someone who is competitive and pays attention to all the details.

Without knowing who that person is though, I’d like Vrabel to instill some toughness and accountability.

This is the exact reason IMO Loomis will not hire him. He know there had to be a clean break from the CSP/Brees era and nd that might actually mean even Loomis moves into a new behind the scenes role in the org.

It's time for Khai Harley to get his shot.

I’d hire Flores. I don’t think his lawsuit was about race at all, it was about being forced to tank by ownership and also scheming to hire Payton. He was pissed and rightfully so.

Dudes a fricking good coach

If you hire Flores, you are looking for another coach in 3-4 years. His baggage is radioactive still.

An old as frick roster.

This is exactly why an old established HC will not be the hire. They have to go young and willing to put in the work to help dig this team out of the basement

if you put a gun to my head and said I had to predict who it would be, that's who I would pick. Not sure it will be, but he's definitely the betting favorite

Odds are you’re looking for a coach anyway. There’s a strong case Flores was fricked by the dolphins.

Depends on the coach. Defensive coach that gives his OC plenty of leash is fine

The thing is there are other coaches that would probably be just as good as Flores or better.

You dismiss him with that baggage and don't even consider it seriously. Just not worth the downside

It’s not about that. Assuming you make a good OC hire, you are having to replace that guy in 2-3 years. You need to hire that person as HC.

I don’t insist upon offensive coach if you have a franchise qb in place because it’s slightly less relevant then…but that’s not us

Now which “young, great “ minds are attainable ?

Slovik but people seem to have turned on him a bit even before the last injuries piled up. Also part of the problem sometimes going with the hot young name. Are they legit or just caught lightning in a bottle before the league figured them out ?

Eric Mangini would be a nice choice. He built the back to back AFC Championship Jets teams and was a defensive coach who learned under Belichick.

I just think he’s an excellent coach. Those dolphins teams sucked and he had them 10-6 and 9-8 his last two seasons.

Plenty of other reasons to not hire him and he’s not my top choice. But he’s very good imo.

Vrabel makes the most sense to me. We have problems everywhere and he’s shown he can build a competent offense and defense

I think he woukd be the best hire. Titans didn’t have alot of talent. Had them with a winning record in 4 of 6 years.

Management was horrific in player evaluations and personnel moves(similar to here) when the wheels went off.

Good solid coach. Not the best, but above average that players respect.

Do we have anything to base this off of? I honestly have not figured out if he’s good or bad yet
