Honestly they have an advertising partnership with with saints worth $100mil +. I think if they didn't believe it they wouldn't stir the pot. I trust them more than th saints front office who I hope get sued by both parties

I wonder if the Saints players treated by those you speak of would feel the same way?

I think you're too senile to understand what happened

Perhaps but at least I am not the poster who hopes the Saints get sued by Ochsner and Saints players.

So IE (which is all I have available to me at the moment) doesn't allow me to "open image in another tab", so I went through this dumb process that obviously didn't work.

Forgive my ignorance but even if stress fractures are hard to see, if the doctor diagnoses a patient with a contusion abd it is later discovered that it is a fracture wouldn't it still be a "misdiagnosis"?
Whether or not this type of thing happens often, it's still a doctor wrongly diagnosing a patient correct?

The same people in this thread that are taking the saints side in this are probably the same people that bitch about the incompetence of the saints organization over the last handful of years.

I can't speak with any real knowledge on this, but my son fell and hurt his elbow over a year ago, and there was swelling around it that might indicate a break, but until that went down they couldn't know for certain. So if it can look like something else originally, that's fine, but then it goes to the communication between the medical staff and the team. "It appears to be a contusion, but there is a possibility of.........".

Yup which is why they got fired. There was no follow up on him like there should have been. It's like they look at them once and throw them back out.
Look how long it took them to recheck Unger's foot to see it wasn't healing on it's own. Why wait months to do that? Check it once a month at least and see how it's going.
I really think people are missing that this isn't just about Breaux. You have at the least Lewis and Unger, plus all those misdiagnosed sports hernias and guys being recommended to not get surgery only to be told during otas/training camp they need surgery.
This wasn't one frick up.

Are you in the medical field? Aren't you a cable guy or something?

Nothing he said was wrong. Had Breaux gotten more injured due to this misdiagnosis, the Saints would have been liable.
I for the life of me cannot understand the fact the player stated continuously he was still in pain, yet these "doctors" ignored it, and didn't take adequate X-rays to evaluate the issue. It didn't require some instrumentation that isn't inexpensive, isn't readily available in the facility, and isn't common practice to use.
This was not just a misdiagnosis, it was a lazy misdiagnosis given the player's injury history, and as Bonethug mentioned, this is a history with the team physicians (not just these two) over the past several years of improper diagnoses on multiple players that have led to complications.
Oschner is one of the most overrated medical groups in the world. I really wish the Saints didn't make this partnership with them in all honesty.

Bone is spot on. Besides, Ochsner may have a diagnosis procedure or process for the general public, but NFL players represent multimillion dollar assets. They need rechecks, follow ups, and second opinions as standard protocol.
The stresses placed on a football player go way beyond the average person. We may be able to walk around with a bone contusion masquerading as bone fracture, but top athletes cannot.
It would be foolish for the Saints or the NFL not to fire the Ochsner employees. This is in light of the mandated player safety policy of the NFL and a desire to protect an investment in a player that is being paid millions of dollars.

The actual truth is, nobody has any clue what happened. Ochsner could have done everything 100% correct, and the saints botched it, or the saints may have been 100% correct and Ochsner botched it.
People that are forming conclusions are just picking sides based on emotion.

How long have you been an Ochsner employee?

There is no way to know based on the absolute minimal info we have
Please explain how you know what the Drs told Breaux and the saints?

You seem to be getting emotional over this issue. Better go to Ochsner and get that checked.
Bone and I gave common sense observations of the situation. You played the emotion card. You may need a second opinion.
