I could clearly see Bosa jump on that 4th and goal, on my 25" TV when I was putting Christmas lights up, to get the sack. Clearly, he was in the neutral zone at the start of the play.

NFL is a joke.

Twitter.

Might be time for a bigger TV. Still short of the neutral zone as the ball was snapped

If you go frame by frame from the above link you can actually see Hurst move before the snap. If there was ref error it was in not calling the false start

Look at the replay after he sacks Dalton. He immediately looks back to the line of scrimmage official expecting a flag. He knew he jumped early.

They said it’s “entertainment”, not sports. Anyone who bets on this shite at this point is the same kind of dumbass that thinks professional wrestling is real. I just watch because I get a kick out of seeing the Saints beat the refs. Sooooooo much shite the 69’ers pulled tonight that was never called…

Hurst moved before the snap because Bosa jumped off directly in front of him. There’s no false start here. Just another questionable no call that unsurprisingly doesn’t benefit the Saints.

Officials in college and pro football used to be great in detecting and calling false starts on offensive linemen and encroachment on defensive linemen. Now you see tackles move early all the time and ends in the neutral zone early.

Officiating has gotten so bad/crooked on both levels.

There are multiple videos out there for you to play with. Feel free to try any frame you'd like. Unfortunately you won't find one that shows him offside.

So what, it would’ve been 4th and goal from the 2. You think we had a play call that would’ve worked?

Why do people waste time on a crap team playing a Super Bowl contender posting things that obviously weren’t called. Saints are the Vanderbilt of the nfl.

The thread is about officiating in the NFL how it has gone completely south. Sorry you didn't get that.

Not sure if he was in the neutral zone, but players like Bosa routinely play a little off the line. They do this so they can better time the snap, if they guess right they are already moving when the ball is snapped. If they guess wrong, they have that half step to try to stop before the ball is snapped. Additionally, there is the chance that they can get an offensive lineman to react and get a false start.

The one I would like to see a better angle from is the illegal contact call on the interception. Read an article this morning that said Taylor already had the ball and was returning it before the ref pulled the flag. Based on the replay they showed it was a ticky tack flag that was not enforced all game (carried the contact to about 8 yards), but the questionable part is why did the back judge wait so long to throw the flag?

Saying the league is rigged is not a stretch. Officials have the power to give first downs and take away big plays. And there’s zero accountability for it. It’s why I am slowly sliding away from the league and focused more on college football. Not much better there either though

There is holding literally every play in the trenches. They can pick and choose when to call it to steer games.

and you are correct, only in that its not just one showing him offsides, its all of them, every single one clearly shows him offsides and across the line before the ball is snapped

True but some players are in on it too. You can literally watch them miss tackles on purpose. It's exactly like wrestling. There's no hiding it anymore.
