In the longterm, this game was perfect. A loss makes next season schedule and pick better, we have our QB and a solid draft class.

For sure, think how well positioned we can be if we go 0-17 next year to.

fricking pussy

Smyth cost us this game. Should’ve went with Cade York.

Not sure why you are getting downvoted. Smythe lost us the game. You cannot shite on Grupe and give Smythe a pass.

Neither are the answer.

Honestly pretty outstanding result. We pretty convincingly outplayed Atlanta with scrubs at the skill positions. Shough continues to look incredible. We get fricked by refs and shitty special teams to lose by two.

We had one bad int (maybe on purpose, who’s to say) and in the process guarantee fourth place schedule and the 8th overall pick.

And, most of the 110 is yac.

Our special teams unit as a whole needs to be revamped. They’re consistently awful.

This is a fricking dull take. Look at the drops this game, and the cheap opi penalty that wiped a td.

Not many expected the Saints to be this good this season.

He was playing with scrub receivers for sure.

Shough threw a Pick that put the game out of reach. Missing that kick is irrelevant without that.

This is why they shouldn't have traded Rashid Shaheed. Traded him too soon, Shough could have been hooking up with him regularly down the field, and your punt return situation would have stayed stable. But they can re-sign him during the off season.

And only 2 1/2 of the oline starters, one of whom people have long called for his head. He was pressured quick all day and still made plays and dropped dimes all over the field. Dude played his fricking heart out.

The play before the INT, if the receiver doesn't fall down, its a TD

I’m objectively correct on the stat line before the last drive. I agree he is awesome and he had shite receivers today and that speaks to why he was inefficient. I think he will be a tremendous QB for 5-10 years if he stays healthy. But he was inefficient today before the last drive.

If we make that FG its a 3pt game and we aren't forced to throw the ball. Crazy how that works. You actually thought you said something there.

He was going to cost quite a bit to retain at the pace he was on (though his time in Seattle may have cost him several millions), and we didn't want to pay him and Olave.

If he somehow comes in at $12 mil or less per year it may he worth a look, but more than that just let someone else sign him.

I'd rather spend huge money on a sure fire #1 receiver next year to pair with Olave, draft or trade for a guard (or 2), and just pick up the best players we can

How'd Audric Estime have more total yards than Bijan Robinson??

Estime > Robinson
