I started a post like this last year...only I asked better than average starter.

The list is frighteningly small.

FYI - Thomas is too nice to say anything, but I think it really bothers him that he won us a SuperBowl and is one of the most popular players on the team and yet people misspell his last name all the time.

Better then average? Plenty.

Top 10? I listed who I thought but I'd love to see people make lists for other teams for comparison (and educate themselves at the same time).

This is like the draft argument. Go through every teams' last five drafts and see how we actually stack up, instead of having some imaginary "this guy NEEDS to be this" thing in your head.

I promise the results will baffle you and you'll realize we aren't even close to the worst drafting team. Not even bottom half.

But no you guys will continue to remain ignorant amd post ignorant statements. That's why I only take about 10 posters super serious on here.

Which means absolutely nothing due to fan voting and the fact that the Pro Bowl means nothing anymore in terms of what it means.

Saints that are Top 10 in their position:
QB - Brees
RB - Ingram (he's currently #15 in rush yards and I would take him over half the players listed before him)
WR - Cooks, and his stats back it up
TE - NA
OL - Armstead and Unger

DE - Jordan
DT - Fairley
MLB - NA
OLB - NA
CB - NA
S - Vaccaro

If anything, this thread makes you look worse with that list of 12 QBs better than Brees.

That's what I was thinking... bumping this thread only makes him look more stupid. In fact that was the absolute last poster I was expecting to have bumped this thread.

people laughed when you said Ingram and Cooks could have arguments made for being considered top 10 at their positions. Look at you now.

Ingram is the only back that has top 15 rushing yard stats without 200 carries. His 5.1 YPC is only 2nd in the top 15 to Lesean McCoy. If we project him to 200 touches he would be a top 10 rushing yard back.

Brandin Cooks is 6th in receiving yards in the NFL and tied for 6th in TDs.

i'm pretty sure we can say ingram > elliot. ingram has a worse offensive line and is gaining more yards per carry. Zeke also has a pro bowl qb taking all the pressure off the run game.

Here's 12:

Cam
Rodgers
Brady
Big Ben
Eli
Luck
Wilson
Palmer
Stafford
Bridgewater
Rivers
Winston

The 12 QBs better than Brees lol

Drew Brees:

TDS 34 (1st)
YARDS 4559 (1st)
CMP % 71.6 (2nd)
PASS RATING 103 (4th)

Not top 10, tho.

But the number 1 QB, Cam Newton:

TDS 17 (19th)
YARDS 3074 (21st)
CMP % 53.8 (31st) LMAOOOOOOO
Jesus fricking christ that is terrible.
PASSER RATING: 80.8 (26th) LMAOOOOOOOOO

I mean that is the part that makes this an obvious troll, right? Is it possible that someone who isn't functionally retarded thinks that Brees isn't a top 10 qb?
