I'd argue Ellerbe is a top 10 weak side LB in league if healthy. Rankins and Fairley may not be top 10 exactly but damn good none the less. Unger and Strief in the past has been a top 10 RT. Cooks should be a top 10 production WR.

Wow. There is a lot of black and gold goggles on in this thread. Bree's is the only top 10 in his position. Breaux and Armstead may end up there but at this point it is to early to call. I had to laugh at the post that has Ingram in it.

OP couldn't name ten players on the saints period.

Drew Brees
Terron Armstead
Max Unger
Possibly Brandin Cooks
Possibly Mark Ingram
Cameron Jordan
Delvin Breaux

Hell possibly Coby Fleener but that's too early to call.

And who knows, maybe even Byrd bounces back.

But no I can't think of one either. I can only think of several.

If we are going to break it down that much then quite possibly.

Way way too early on Rankins, but Fairley has shown a lot. If he keeps up that pace then sure.

a shitty supporting cast

Don't agree with that because we have several good/great pieces on offense, but yeah lead the league in yards while missing a game to boot.

isnt that a reasonable approach to positional top 10 players?

I was just going LB, S, CB, G, OT, etc.

But yeah we can break it down.

Saying we don't have a top 10 LB when all grouped together and there's 3-4 starters on each team is kind of a pathetic approach to use under the circumstances of OP is using especially considering the cap space being used as a whole on the group

And I think Robertson could be a top 10 LB in any of the spots. The man looked beastly at times.

He's had a great camp which is why I didn't sweat Anthony getting hurt that much.

Bobby Richardson has been unusually quiet this camp, wonder if he's on chopping block

Cam Newton's supporting cast on offense was terrible and he won MVP.

Terrible? The Panthers had the most Pro Bowlers in the NFL last season.

Yes I'm also counting defense as supporting cast. When your defense gives up 30 pts/game it doesn't matter how good your offense is, you will lose a lot of games.

Armstead was rated as the no.3 OT in the NFL last year according to PFF. Breaux also had the 10th best coverage grade of any CB.

It's not event a question that Armstead is a top 10 LT. You're clueless.

I have had season tickets in my family since 1968, broken bread with the Benson family & was conceived in the bathroom after the Dempsey kick. Do not come at me with that sideways shite, nancy.

I bleed black & gold
