I know the story of Ingram's absence is probably one that everyone is tired of hearing...but after last week's game watching Gillislee fumble and Williams not do much early in the game, added with the video in the link below, I can see how Ingram's absence is terrible for the offense and its required balance.

I cant stand the Ingram hate on here. I feel like I’m the only person on here who thinks we should resign him.

I think these 4 games will end the MI hate among the Saints fan base.

We should draft his replacement in the 3rd round next year. Cheaper and not approaching 30

He's such and underrated RB not only in his own fan base but across the league. It's a shame.

It's not like he got injured. It's Ingram's fault Gillislee was even in the game.

Only way I wouldn't want him resigned is if we can get Leveon in FA to pair w/ AK.

Bell is going to cost a shite load of money. We can probably get Ingram for a hometown discount.

Not taking anything away from Bell though. He's probably the best RB in the league.

I never understood the hate for Ingram in this board, other than the fact he went to Bama.

However the offense scored 40 points without him, so I’d say the only thing the saints are missing is a defense with a pulse

I’d rather spend money elsewhere rather than back the bank truck up be Le’Veon Bell

You really think that 40 points is an indicator that the offense is better off without Ingram?

Peat Wardaddy and Unger made Ingrams year last year.

We can find a similar back for cheaper.

And we may not even need one. AK41 is going to be a 3-down back for us before too long. BET

Been on that boat.

I said it before, Kamara has not shown at all that he can be a 3-down pound the rock RB.

Remember how Warford and Ramcyzk weren't here and Ingram still averaged 5+ YPC??

I remember.

Wouldn’t be surprised if we trade him this year

What do you think we could get for him? I assume someone would fork out a 5th for him. 4th would be enticing imo.

They just tried this and failed miserably.

As bad as the defense was (i.e., they being, far and away, the reason for last week's loss), Ingram playing would have resulted in a win.

More productive run game would've resulted in greater time of possession and less time on the field for that putrid defense. We'd have won.
