Mickey Loomis is a de facto owner, he is not going to fire himself

Along with Lauscha, Loomis is so trusted by Gayle that he is a de fact owner, and controls everything.
He is obviously not going to fire himself.
This lack of accountability extends throughout the entire organization. If the person calling all of the shots will never change...will the organization ever change? No.

Loomis probably just gave himself a raise.

This’ll be unpopular but I don’t really think Mickey needs to be fired. Our front office is mostly doing its job. We’ve drafted pretty well (not perfect but no one does). The league is littered with former Saints draft picks starting. Despite the way we’ve used the cap, we’ve managed to sign players the team needs like Carr, TM, Demario, Maye, etc
The biggest issue is that they’re holding onto Dennis. And honestly, no one fires a HC after 4 games. If they keep him this offseason, let’s talk.
I honestly think keeping Mickey and the front office but absolutely cleaning house on the coaching staff and resting our schemes this offseason is the play. This team is really talented on both sides of the ball and won’t lose much in FA next year. Stack another good Ireland draft on top and we’ll probably be pretty good with competent coaching.

Mickey Mouse organization at this point. It’s the epitome of good ole boy, fat and happy.
We keep trading away capital for an actual rebuild to chase a certain piece here or there. We’re so fricking far away from meaningfully competing and it starts with the ineptitude in ownership and management.

the problem is they have so much power it works against you when it comes to hiring a coach.
Get rid of Dennis, insert some other lap dog that doesn't rock the boat. Everyone wants Ben Johnson, but given the way this FO operates we'd be more likely to pursue Aaron Glenn

There is a lack of accountability from any of the EVP’s within the organization. Name another multibillion dollar company that has had zero turnover within its hierarchy and structure and hasn’t produced.
The archdiocese of New Orleans Trojan Horse’d its way into a $6B windfall by getting Gayle, who can’t even run a furniture design business, into ownership.
Dennis and Lauscha run the business and neither is going to fire themselves from a position they’re paid $10+m.

The hiring of Dennis Allen, the Olave trade & Carr signing were huge setbacks for this franchise, and the front office is completely at fault for all 3.

I've been saying for a while that Loomis needs to go. We've been in cap hell a long time.

Get rid of Loomis and promote Jeff Ireland or Kai Harley before we lose one or both.
