1.Mendoza
2. Reese/ Bailey
3. Bailey/ Reese
4. Love
5. Styles
6. OL/ WR
I'm pretty confident this will be the top 5 whether the Cardinals/ Giants trade their picks or just draft.

And Downs at 10 if he’s there

Yes you do if he is a generational talent. Downs appears to be that
Correct.

Downs shouldn’t make it to 10 if he’s there at 8. I would love to have him.

This tells me Bain is not on our board in the first.

I keep hearing stuff like this but I'm not sure how it matters. Delane/ Bain/ Downs are the next best up for their positions and if there's only OL/ WR's between them and teams don't need OL/ WR what does it change? Most of the positions are in the same boat this year.
It doesnt matter how close the other DE/ S/ CB are. If a team needs S and its pick the best one or pick between 20 WR's/ OL they are just going to pick the safetey.
People are acting like 32 teams want to trade back but 32 people have to be picked 1-32.

Sounds like the opposite. They want the player with the fewest question marks so they are staying put
Such a horrible draft philosophy
Trading down is absolutely the way to go. You need lots of good players to fill out this roster, and you need them on the cheap. Trading back gives you a chance to make that happen if you pick well.

Tate is good but he's Chris Olave, bascially
You do realize how stupid this sounds? He’s bigger than Olave. So if you can get a bigger Olave at 8, I take that all day.
Olave was 2nd team All pro this year, that means only a few receivers were better than him in the league this year.

He will have to be Ed Reed to justify taking him at 8. Assuming he’s playing safety. I think he will be good, but there are questions about his athleticism.
Basically I see him as maybe a better version of Brian branch, someone we passed on in the 2nd round b/c Loomis thought so little if his athleticism. Is that worth taking at 8 overall? At one of the more devalued positions in the league?
I don’t think so.
