Yeah that’s true but Its funny to me that the Saints seem to be attracted to players coming off injuries. More so than other teams. The Joke around town is that if a player is injured the saints will draft him or sign him

Let me let you in on a secret. They play professional football, they are all coming off of an injury. Every single one of them, even the punter.

These types of signings usually work out for us. The 5 year 63 million ones not so match.

Maybe if they got their degrees from Webmd they wouldn’t have been fired for incompetence and clearing guys that had no business getting cleared before signing big contracts

So you saying I want Chark just because he went to LSU? Not the fact that he is 6foot 3inch player who had the fastest 40 time in the combine. Who won the senior bowl mvp with two td catches for a buck 30ish. A player who put up respectable numbers despite the fact that he was hampered by piss poor coaching and QB play. I don’t care if he went to Alafuc@# BAMA. I believe in this kid. Him going to LSU helps tho

Guess you never heard of Darrius Heyward-Bey. Pretty much identical combine numbers, as well as physical. How did that workout for Oakland when they drafted him?

And don’t come at me with “he’s still in the nfl”. Drafting a WR in the first round, you should expect them to be your number 1. Not a 3rd/4th option.

Totally different circumstances. The raiders picked him with the7th pick in the first round which is a reach. Picking Clark/Moore with the 27 would be good value. This is the 27th pick in the draft. If we were picking 7 I would want the best defensive player available.

It’s the nfl. Try finding me a player without an injury history.

Why are people so excited to give a 10 million dollar offer sheet to a player coming off major ACL and MCL surgery. The Saints history of signing and drafting players with an significant injury history is starting to get old at this point

You are getting him for 10M only because he has an ACL and MCL injury. You need to realize that had he had another year with production similar or slightly better than 2016, he'd be going for a lot more.

Do you have stats to back up this claim or do you think you might just be more aware of saints pick ups rather than other teams?

I have never seen a stat that claimed the saints pick up more injured players than other teams. You probably just feel that way cuz you follow the saints far more closely than any other team.

I love when people use anecdotal evidence as proof of fact.
