Lemme guess OP, you woulda been cool with trading draft capital and paying 16-18M/yr for Jarvis Landry?

I did want J Landry. Not at that price tho. Plus he is a better player than the other guy plus he isn’t coming off a major knee reconstruction

It isn’t the 80s anymore. ACLs aren’t career ending now. And by all accounts Meredith had one of the better injuries to a knee you could have asked for. No other damage, short recovery time.

Meredith was legit before he got hurt and we potentially got him for dirt cheap. Good route runner, good hands. And we don’t need him to be a #1 option, we have several.

This is a home run signing if the Bears don’t match. Probably the best of the offseason.

We need more than 1 WR so you might get one of those guys anyway

adding a good one like Meredith in FA just makes it so we aren’t boxed into having to take any one position

Also figures you’d want Chark. This board is so predictable lmao

In what round? Then in what round do we get a DE, TE, OG/C, etc?

So you saying I want Chark just because he went to LSU? Not the fact that he is 6foot 3inch player who had the fastest 40 time in the combine. Who won the senior bowl mvp with two td catches for a buck 30ish. A player who put up respectable numbers despite the fact that he was hampered by piss poor coaching and QB play. I don’t care if he went to Alafuc@# BAMA. I believe in this kid. Him going to LSU helps tho

I believe that the Saints are going WR or TE in the first. Unless something crazy happens like that DE from BC falls to them which ain’t happening

Chark and moore can be busts, Meredith has an 1000 yard season with shitty Chicago Qb's throwing him the ball

After swelling subsided, doctors took a close look at Meredith’s knee and determined he has a minor tear in the medial collateral ligament. That alleviated fears that Meredith could be facing a total knee reconstruction and a rehabilitation that could last 12 months or longer. Now Meredith could be on the field as soon as the late spring when the team enters organized team activities.

Lol just like the Saints doctors knew a little more about delvin breaux, Nick Fairley and Jarius Byrd than I did too right?
I'm sorry, we weren't aware that you had such a well-informed opinion. So, please tell us again when did you graduate medical school and where did you do your orthopedic residency?

Again.... Depending who's on the board at 27 hope the Saints can trade back and still get the guy they want and recoup a #2.

Get fvcked.

This is the type of unbearable snark I'm fed up with here.

This is an LSU board where Saints fans are welcome, not the other way around. Go to SaintsReport if you don't like it.

Besides he wasn't even being a homer, or else he wouldn't have listed DJ fvcking Moore, from freaking Maryland.

But he was simply listing potential prospects he prefers at a position the Saints need. He happens to like Chark for his measurables and production, who he saw firsthand because he watched him every week. Chark runs the same route tree as Ted Ginn, the same motion-option plays, and even produced on ST like Ginn. Chark is basically a 6-3 younger version of Ginn. Not hard to imagine he'd fit what the Saints' offense does.

Now if your refutation would've been that Chark's value is as a 2nd rounder, and not the 27th overall talent... or that it would be a redundant move for this year's team, well, at least that's a logical retort.

But apparently, all you see is an LSU fan recommending an LSU prospect which is as near-sighted & narrow-minded as your comprehension skills.
