Well, it is a old stadium that has been made up to look new, but that's not my main reasoning for MB dumping NO for Atlanta, but whatever.

Actually, the Saints are allowed to negotiate a naming rights deal on behalf of the state with the proceeds from the sale going toward any subsidies the state would have had to pay the Saints. It is pretty much up to the Saints to get the best deal they can for the benefit of the State.
I suppost the Saints could sell them to DIXIE for $3.50 and the State would have to pick up the difference in lost credits and the Saints don't lose a thing.

I also would love for it to go local and be food related with Tabasco or Zatarains ("The Big Zeazy"??). But, my mind is also already calibrated to accept "Allstate Sugar Bowl" so "Allstate Super Dome" would roll right off the tongue.

I personally liked the Louisiana Superdome, but I know that's a thing of the past in this day and age. I'm down for any alternative to a stripper site. Anyone in favor of that obviously doesnt have daughters.
Seriously though, why cant we go back to louisiana superdome. Soldier field, arrowhead stadium, lambeau...do they just have such big markets that they dont need sponsorship?

The Superdome is a a GREAT place to watch a game. The MB Dome in Atlanta is shiny for now but will not age well and the vibe is cold and the area isolated with NO Charm. The reason that MB has the naming rights to ATL stadium is because they moved their. Corporate US HQ to Atlanta making it the home town team.
