The talking heads just throwing out that the saints should draft whatever guy happens to be number one on people’s boards this year have no clue what they’re talking about.

Shough looks better than Ward and Dart. Mendoza and Simpson look terrible. Use a top pick to get a marquee position filled at DE or WR

You're an idiot. He may not be better that Shough. But to not be impressed means you're an idiot.

If by 10 you mean 4, then yes.

That interview threw me for a loop. I appreciate the message but the delivery…he’d have to be one hell of a winner to deal with that

1) he is better than Shough

2) he will be a better intangible leader than Shough

3) he will be 4 years younger than Shough

He's a very valid option for us

He was a little out there, but I liked him. He was genuine. I like unique personalities if they're not assholes.

One of these is true.

Meh. More like a target for the Jets or the Browns to give us haul of picks.

We have a lot of needs and I'm open to filling those over drafting a QB

However, I will rage if we pick Simpson, Moore, or some other random QB instead of Mendoza.

I think he's got top 10 QB potential and he's a guy you can actually build a sustainable culture around

Simpson won’t come out…He’ll be back for another year, just like Arch.

Not impressed that a QB thats 4 years older and has a full season of NFL coaching under his belt looks slightly better than a Junior in college?

BTW, Mendoza has 31 career college starts. Shough has 50 with NFL games taken into account.

Our fan base is full of dumb arses.

People get caught up in the big moments. He struggled a lot last night as he did vs Penn St and Oregon (Big 10 teams with NFL talent). He has talent but he looks like he would need more time than the typical top 3 pick. His pocket presence definitely needs work. He sacked himself multiple times last night.

Not a full season, and remember he didn't start the first 6 games.
