God damn Tremaine Edmunds at 12?

ETA: he also doesn't have Arden Key in the first round

I'd rather have Mark Andrews over Sutton and the Panthers fans should be p.o. if they pass over both Kirk & Sutton for a guard

If Evans is on the board we are not drafting a WR

I'd be okay with Sutton but I'd rather one of two guys right behind us in the mock. I like Andrews and Evans a lot.

I agree. Evans would not slip past us. We need him or Edmunds

Or we could pull a Falcons and trade away a shite ton of picks to move up and nab Roquan

I want more of a slot / 3rd down specialist type of WR

Since when has Sean Payton ever valued a traditional slot wr in this offense? He moves everyone around seemly 70%-80% of the time and doesn’t use the slot like other teams, it’s more of seam attack, or deep cross position in Payton’s offense.

I'd prefer a LB at #27 more than any position. If we lose Kelemete & Strief...I'd actually be ok with taking one of those OT's with our 1st pick as well. We would have jack & shite for depth if we lost those 2 guys.

Gotta love that 5th year option on versatile O-Linemen.

I'd much rather see us spend money on WR in FA

There aren't as many studs defensively in FA this year which is why I'd rather see us draft mainly defense and spend our $$$ on TE and WR and resigning our guys

The problem is that this offense was horrible on 3rd down this season and it only got worse and worse. In the past we always had a player who really just shined on 3rd down for us: Lance Moore, Jimmy, Snead. Conventional wisdom would tell you that it should be Kamara in this offense, but it's not the case. Maybe because he's just too good and get's keyed on, I don't know. It doesn't have to be just a "slot" player, but just someone who fits our 3rd down player mold. Because in the end this is what ended up costing us pretty much all of our losses: 3rd down offense.

Agreed and you could chalk up losses to Minnesota x2, Atlanta, and even LA Rams to not being able to convert 3rd downs.

I mean even vs shitty teams we struggled.

I want Roquan Smith the most, but he won’t drop to us.

I really like Vita Vea and Christian Kirk. Edmunds would be good too.

If we can’t grab any of those, I like the following in no particular order:
Deon Cain WR
Malik Jefferson OLB
Tarvarus McFadden CB
Orlando Brown OT
Courtland Sutton WR

Personally, I think TE is a major need that completely alters defensive strategy against us. From various mocks I've seen, the 3rd round will be when the TE's (other than Andrews) start to roll off the board.

Thoughts on Fumagelli? I think he can be a major impact player for us with his size/skillset. Especially if he is there for the taking in round 3.

This is why I want a TE first and foremost in FA. Defenses are keyed in on Thomas and Kamara. Drew needs a safety valve for the short-intermediate passing game.

I think Kirk and Andrews shoot up draft boards by the time we get there.

Every year a handful of skills position do better or blow the combine out the water and get coveted by teams.

Those two are going to do what Eric Ebron and John Ross did.

I want Ronnie Harrison in the first round. Say bye bye to Vaccaro, would also like Trey Quinn if he’s available later down the line.
